I worked at Premise Health full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

loved all of my coworkers, loved the community events they do with High Hopes and with local charity's. Laid back work environment for the most part. Flexible work shifts. Lots of company events and most of the time they are catered and at the town halls you have the chance to win good prizes.

    Cons

    1) No opportunity to grow and if you try to apply for other positions you will not get it if you come across as a threat to management. You don't kiss management butt. Very much like a high school type of environment. Either you are in the cliques or you are not.

2)Raises and benefits are horrible. They don't pay enough for all the work you have to do.

3)No job specific training. If you don't catch on within the first two days of shadowing you will probably not make it here.

    4) Upper Management aren't the most approachable or respectful. Come across as they look down on regular employees.

    5) Lack of appreciation. No support!

    6)Layoffs no real job security

    7) Can't work from home

    8) No sick time or personal time. the PTO here is horrible!

    Advice to Management

The only thing I would suggest are new manager most of the ppl you put in these positions don't know their jobs and only got hired because they are close to the directors.

I worked at Premise Health full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Great manager who actually cared about me
    - Able to run site without micromanaging
    - Fun and supportive environment
    - Members were fun to work with
    - Opportunity to make extra by doing P.T.

    Cons

    - On contract bases so you never know when site will opt out on renewing contract (unstable job)
    - Low salary for HFS and PM - can probably make more at a commercial gym or doing P.T.
    - Did not receive help when moved to another state for the job
    - Benefits were good in the beginning, but then got cheap (why?)
    - Good growth opportunities, but can't go any higher than PM
    - Site I worked for did not see value in fitness and health
    - Site I worked for did not communicate well with PH

    Advice to Management

    - Help employees who are willing to relocate for another job within the company. Encourage them to stay instead of just saying "bye felicia".

    Pros

    Relaxed culture

    Cons

Very mentally and verbally abusive management

    Pay severely below market

    Advice to Management

Really take a look at those who run your departments.

I worked at Premise Health (Less than a year)

    Pros

Only 3 employees & a great place if you like drama & shady administrators.

    Cons

Very small clinic with toxic administrative personalities. Extremely disorganized...worked for several months before I was given ANY information about Occupational Health...& only after asking several times. They give too much power to their patient surveys...you’re either 100% or not!

    Advice to Management

You can’t assess or judge an employee you never actually saw working & base your judgements on what one incompetent clinic RN who only cares about herself & talks about you behind your back as if you are in Jr. HS.

I have been working at Premise Health full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Management takes team member engagement seriously. I work at the corporate office in Brentwood and Stu Clark, our CEO, is very approachable. He makes you feel like everyone's contribution is valuable to our success. I believe he has everyone's respect and works as hard as anyone at the company.

    Cons

We have locations all around the country and sometimes it can be difficult to find the best people in different parts of the country so some employees may experience a different version of Premise Health than we do at the corporate office.

    Advice to Management

Focus on developing people managers so everyone can have a consistent team member experience.
