I have been working at Prent full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The group of guys in the Maintenance shop are fun to work with. Very clean environment. Always have something to do.

    Cons

Sometimes you would be required to do very useless tasks. Seemed like the company liked to waste money.

    Advice to Management

When stressed out, do not take it out on the employees. Overall very friendly and happy about the job.

I worked at Prent part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You can choose which shift you want to work. The people there are nice and look after each other. They will give you slack when learning what to look for, but after a few weeks you are expected to hold your own, but in a good way. The work is not difficult.

    Cons

You are on your feet all day looking at plastic. It can get boring fast. You do not get to move around all that much.

    Advice to Management

The part-time workers know what they are looking for when they have worked there for a long time. The mechanics do not know everything, all though sometimes they think they do.

    - Affairs and social cliques can be common
    - Frequent lengthy and dull meetings to wrangle requirements and comments from employees for projects

I have been working at Prent (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice people and friendly place to work. I do enjoy coming to work everyday but still keep my eyes open for opportunity.

    Cons

I have been working at the Flagstaff AZ facility for a few months and I have never seen a company full of so many Part-timers or "Mini's" as they like to call them. The company has enough work to have 3 shifts but need to have "Mini's" change at each shift? Meanwhile they do have some FT employees that work 4, 10hr days but very few? I can see the frustration when someone knows that they can work more but feel limited do to the companies management. Also the pays scale is off with the price of living in the Flagstaff area.

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to run so thin and give these part-timer a chance to show what they are able to do.

    Pros

The work-life balance is great as all holidays are paid time off. The paid time off however; is only for eight hours if you work ten, and without any shift differentials. Management is good and they do not micro-manage, but let you do the job you were hired to do.

    Cons

The pay structure is not very good. They have cost of living adjustments, but they are based off of cost of living in Wisconsin which is much cheaper than Arizona.

    Advice to Management

Keep employees in the loop as to what is going on in the company. When the company is trying to hide information even when the issue is obvious it makes an employee feel like they are not wanted.

    Pros

Pay was good, and paid vacation.

    Cons

Management is a joke. There is no open door policy like they claim. They say a four day work week, but you work most fridays. A lot of two faced people, management and otherwise. A lot of lazy people who do the bare minimum so other people can do twice as much. A lot of people play favorites.
