I have been working at Presbyterian Healthcare Services full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

You get to pretty much pick the hours you will work, and then they set that as your schedule. Decent pay. Managers are nice and understanding. Co-workers aren't an issue because we work remote. Everyone seems pretty nice.

    Cons

If you want time off and you request it 3 months in advance, they might not approve it until 2 weeks before sometimes, not all the times but sometimes. Pay could be better. If their Network goes down, you have to clock out and wait for it to go back up. And you have to make up your hours for that downtime.

    Advice to Management

Try to let people know sooner about PTO requests, we have to plan travel expenses, flights, hotels.... Car... So if you don't approve my PTO until 2 weeks before hand it makes it very stressful and costly.

    Cons

Micromanaged, Stressful, Unethical, Lack integrity, to many more reasons

    Advice to Management

This is by far the WORST REMOTE CODING job! Please be aware that when you work REMOTE coding for Presbyterian it means giving up your livelihood and your family plans – meaning working the weekends and holidays whenever they say so on demand. You do NOT have a choice! They will lie and tell you one weekend out of the month is required to work. BUT they will give you a schedule of when you must work. They are lying...
