Pros
From my earliest memories, I always wanted to work in healthcare. The thought that I would be able to help others during a critical and often difficult period in their life was thrilling to me. Over the years, my career path has meandered a bit, but never far from that early purpose -- helping others with their care. I am proud to have found a home at Press Ganey where I can continue on my personal life mission. The beauty of Press Ganey is that our clients, our company and all of my colleagues are perfectly aligned around a single purpose - helping improve any aspect of the patient experience that is within our control. It is an incredibly rewarding opportunity for me and I know many of my colleagues feel the same fulfillment.
Cons
The cons of Press Ganey is less to do with the comapny and more to do with the industry environment. Healthcare may not be broken, but it isn't perfect and there are many organizations that need significant help improving. And the work is never done. There is always room for improvement - which is good, but sometimes can be frustrating. Overall, pros far outweigh the cons.

Pros
Offers Flexible PTO and work from home.
Cons
So far they closed 3 of their acquired locations and let go most of the employees. Very little concerned showed about the years of employment many of these associates have provided or the impact to their livelihoods. I saw this happened but did not expect this treatment towards the Press Ganey workforce. They are redesigning the teams and titles. This is a move to consolidate and let go of people. And regardless whether you have been in the company 1 yr or 29 yrs, if you role has changed, you will need to apply and go thru interview process to retain your job. Per the company’s recommendation and HR, I voiced my concerns and questions and they have gone unanswered.

Pros
At the rate people are leaving, they are likely to get desparate to hire replacements. There could be a good opportunity for someone who is looking at the end of 2013. There is still some level of accomodation of work/home balance but I am not sure that it will last. There is still the possibility that if the current senior management is replaced that Press Ganey could be a great company again. There are people who are being kept from doing that today.
Cons
The company is very short term focussed. This makes them do things that can have good immediate financial results but are likely to have fatal consequences in the future. The technical debt is enourmous and growing. Individuals do not matter in the company. It is clear that the management perception is that everyone is interchangable and easily replaced. The power structure is very buddy oriented, what was once called the old boys club (but with no gender discrimination at Press Ganey). Being the buddy of the next level up is far more important than competence. It appears that the company is in serious financial straights that has been well hidden from the financial analysts and investors. In the last two years, there has been one bonus paid (The CEO said that based on the financials it should not have been paid) and basically no raises even for exceptional performance according to the CEO.

Pros
I love the people and the team at Press Ganey and our passion to support our customer base.
Cons
We work very hard to support our customers and to think differently. You will need to bring that energy and passion to your work.

Pros
If you're in a management position, you'll be there forever or as long as you want to be. Still its low pay for management...
Cons
This company is horrible to work for. It was a great environment before Dr.'s Press & Ganey sold it to a corporation. Now its so corporate...the way they treat their employees is horrifying, and they offer very low compensation. Press Ganey Associates is all about the profit margin, not the employees.

Pros
1. Work that matters: The work I do matters to the growth of the organization and there is tremendous respect and recognition to the work I do. It also adds value from the customer point of view, as the work I do drives the customer deliverable. 2. Innovation: Press Ganey is driving Innovation in the healthcare industry through its thoughtful strategies and expertise. It is always exciting to be working for a company where they value Innovation and spend on Innovation. There is a culture to appreciate new ideas and the management values new approaches and ideas to be successful in this challenging and every changing market. 3. Work-Life Balance: Great company to work for with a good work-life balance. The company is flexible with its work policy and there is no micro-management, and a great deal of trust is shown on the employees.
Cons
Change is constant, and sometimes there is more change than required. But these are growing pains for an organization which is expanding by leaps and bounds.

Pros
What others have said - remote work, PTO, sensible work/life balance.
Cons
Press Ganey suffers from an oversaturation of senior leadership who are detached from the reality of their 'lower' employees. Integration post acquisition was and remains slow, yet they continue to hire and bring in confusing overlapping roles at the senior level, neglecting to integrate or promote the folks they've already got on staff. Constant 'pulse' surveys go nowhere, leadership expects a pat on the back for bringing benefits up to par (maternity leave) where they should have been all along. Out of touch town halls where you'll listen to these leaders announce expensive billboards and off-script political opinions. Oh - and then they'll do a round of layoffs to 'reduce redundancy'.

We appreciate your feedback, and we're sorry to see someone with your tenure leave the organization. Our senior management team is fully committed to our mission, vision and values, and works hard to balance the needs of clients, employees and the business. Please know that we hear your frustrations about recent changes and take them seriously. Your perceptions will be conveyed to the team.

Am grateful to be part of a team of dedicated and talented people at Press Ganey. I love the mission of our business and the positive way that it impacts the lives of others.
Cons
Constant change is a reality that presents opportunities for expanding knowledge and innovation.

Pros
Press Ganey Forsta is the industry leader in healthcare and human experience management. I can say that with both conviction and pride. I see the company on a daily basis commit to service excellence and technological solutions to our clients' problems. You also won't find a more kind and genuine leader than Pat Ryan.
Cons
As are most companies who have made multiple recent acquisitions, things can feel disorganized at times. That's a temporary con though as it's part of the fun working with this company: organizing the chaos. Some people may find larger companies a con in general, though PGF really feels like working in a startup world at the moment. There is also the likelihood that you would be fully remote, so try to clarify that if it is a con for you.

Pros
One of the many benefits of working for Press Ganey are the people that work here. The company is vested in it's employees and never stops seeking to improve. For the last couple of years they have absorbed the added costs of healthcare coverage, they invest in the community, and are focused on being their best for everyone that works here. I've been able to grow my career here with ease and everyone is encouraging of my growth. My pay is inline with similar companies in the area and I couldn't be happier after 5 years of employment.
Cons
Some of the corporate structure needs some work. There is no clear structure among different department titles among management and above. There tends to be silos and different departments do totally different things in regards to best practices, etc. These don't hinder how the company works however.
