    Pros

    Collaborative. Non-corporate. Family- and community-oriented.

    Cons

Micromanagement. Publisher/owner text messages employees during non-work hours.

    Advice to Management

Treat female and male employees equally. Also it's difficult to function in a closely-guarded work space when the HR department is offsite and the direct contact is the publisher/owner of the company.

I have been working at Press Publications full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The best reason to work here is because it helps open the door to the designer world for you. It shows you just what kind of responsibility you'll be taking on.

    Cons

Some of the challenges of working is the deadlines and meeting them on time. Also understanding that communication only works if you seek it yourself.

    Advice to Management

Understanding your position and know how to stand your grounds. Challenge yourself and always understand why things happens the way they do.

It's a freelance position so you have a lot of freedom. The editors and coordinators are very helpful and give great feedback. You get to see your work in print.

    Cons

Sometimes the assignments are boring since it's a really small local newspaper

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.
