I have been working at Presstek (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The staffing is all very nice, easy to make friends and get along with. You start with 2 weeks vacation, and very good pay.

    Cons

Once you are in the door, don't expect to many raises, so make sure you start at a more comfortable level. Upper management can not stay focused and continually jumps from idea to idea. This then creates very stressful work days at times.

    Advice to Management

Like the old saying goes, "too many Chefs not enough Indians." you will have 2 or 3 workers beginning managed by two different people. The staffing is almost 40% management to 60% worker which explains where a lot of wasted money goes.

    Pros

Decent pay & benefits, generous ETO

    Cons

Poor management and way too top heavy.

    Advice to Management

Make some top level management changes, consolidate to one location and get back in the game and invent something new. Someone should be at the front desk to answer the phone and greet customers.
