Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Prezi full-time for more than a year
Pros
Prezi's product is "fun" if you have the patience to learn it, which is no easy feat. There are some really great ground level colleagues here that make the job more enjoyable. Benefits are decent enough, but really nothing amazing especially for the tech space.
Cons
Mis-management at every level and every department, all the way to the CEO (who recently stepped down likely due to his inability to grow the company). Managers don't stay long because Prezi continues to hire inexperienced first time managers that really don't get it - Don't understand the business model, the product, or how to manage their own teams. Peter-Pan Culture: Company-wide meetings are called “Show and Tell” - are we children? Plenty of other red flags are rampant in the company culture including a non-existent HR presence and management that really could care less about improving culture and are more interested in playing politics and mass-spamming comments in "Honey" posts and giving "Kudos", a way to publicly high-five people for doing their jobs. While the product certainly has potential to be great, it is plagued by fundamental issues that go many years without being fixed. The core presentation product has a STEEP learning curve, is VERY buggy, and takes A LOT of computing power to run. Instead of fixing the core product, Prezi has gifted a bunch of other flashy add-ons to users while leaving the larger concerns on the back-burner and drowning out the voice of the customer/community. Likely in the hope that flashy video overlays will distract them from their inability to make product improvements.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Prezi full-time for more than a year
Pros
Prezi is a smart engineering organization and has an innovative and capable team with great marketing and effective leadership. Budapest (where HQ is located) is a fun, affordable place as well.
Cons
The diversity at Prezi was a huge negative for me. I do not remember there being one non-white person who worked there (out of hundreds and hundreds of people). Hungary (HQ) is ruled by a government that uses a lot of false propaganda and tows cars from the roads when Putin visits. Not a ton of growth opportunity for family members inside of Hungary aside from government work and software engineering. They closed down a lot of international institutions inside the country leading the trajectory of the country to appear less than optimal in the way of progress.
