I have been working at Prime AE Group full-time

    Pros

At first, it sounded with a friendly feel.

    Cons

No professionalism. It gets bigger and bigger by minutes as a medieval empire, since the owners have only expansion aspirations in mind without tendency to want to love engineering profession or to serve the society. There is unusual favoritism in the management.

    Advice to Management

Sell the business to those who care about the field.

I have been working at Prime AE Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I enjoyed the people I worked with (but not for).

    Cons

Benefits are lacking as well as good management. The company is growing so fast that they can't keep up with the structural organization of the company. Employees come and go and you never know who does what.

    Advice to Management

Slow down. Hire people that actually know what they are doing.

    Pros

It's a job - that is all there is to the 'pros' of this company.

    Cons

You are a number, nothing more. The company is top heavy in management and those people do not care about the people working under them. I have seen this company go down instead of UP because of this. Do not expect to be appreciated or thanked for anything you do. Do not expect a pay raise either, even though upper management is clearly doing well. The benefits are lacking, particularly in medical insurance (cost is ridiculously high) and the 401k match. They do not honor the education reimbursement either. I have never seen such a high turnover of employees before I worked for this company. To say it's a revolving door is an understatement.

    Advice to Management

You are top heavy and will eventually fall. Start appreciating your employees before you lose your good talent (what little is left). Take time to say HI to people.

    Pros

    Flexible schedule. Work without micromanagement.

    Cons

Upper management needs to improve interpersonal and managerial skills.

    Advice to Management

    Treat employees with respect

    Pros

Supervisors are very nice, personable, and understanding of employees. Other employees are friendly.

    Cons

Upper management doesn't care about you, only results and don't like when you care more about your health than your work.

    Advice to Management

Be more knowledgeable about how ground conversion work is done and how long it actually takes. And make sure the employees have machines that work.

I have been working at Prime AE Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

For the most part this is a good company with good management. They have the potential to grow and grow and grow... if they wise up a little. Excellent product for the market, it's a fairly recession-proof industry.

    Cons

They have a typical Sri Lankan mentality - white folk can't possibly do the job well so they micromanage them. Not a lot of money to be made right now, raises and bonuses are non existent. If they can get it right and grow, it's possible some of that money might trickle down.

    Advice to Management

Recognize that you hired us for a reason - because we know how to do the job. Give us raises even if they're menial. We need some encouragement that we are wanted here.

    Pros

The pay was pretty decent for my position and my area--it wants me to add more words, but that's pretty much all I can say

    Cons

Office management absolutely the most unprofessional I have ever dealt with. On salary, expected to work well over 40 hours without any compensation of any sort. Doesn't care about family life as long as projects get out the door.

    Advice to Management

As a corporate company, spend time in all offices so that you can see what really goes on
