I worked at Prime Communications full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Plenty of movement within the company
Great pay once you got into management
Ability to create your own business with customers

    Cons

Work life balance a bit to be desired once you moved up
    Benefits were pretty expensive
At times it was about who you know not what you know
Weak district managers who were not as honest as they portrayed.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the front lines more. Be willing to take criticism for growth of the company and to better yourself. Be more diligent in who you put in at district managers. They speak volumes in their actions

    Pros

    Good benefits
    Potential to make decent money

    Cons

ZERO work life balance, management expects you to bend your life around their constantly changing schedule. They will change your schedule without asking and expect you to work it. The managers encourage and expect you to commit fraud to meet your metrics.

    Pros

the supportive nature of the company and your managers will make you feel like you are an important part of something bigger.

    Cons

The only downside, that isn't even a downside, is that I've found I'm missing the work/life balance a bit ONLY because I love my job so much.

    Advice to Management

Keep it up, it's been great so far!

    Pros

Decent management but that all depends on the store. Advancement is there but not worth the $2 raise

    Cons

Hourly pay is okish, commission pay out sucks and changes constantly and not for the better.
Rumors spread faster flies in a swamp.
No one knows the correct answer so they make one up.
Corporate doesn't answer you (unless you email 3 different people )
You get ridiculed for not selling direct TV to every customer even if they already have it

    Advice to Management

Provide employees a better working environment

I worked at Prime Communications full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The best thing I can say about this place, is that it's a job and they will in fact give you money for all of your time.

    Cons

ZERO work/life balance, training is non existent, over promise and under deliver, zero empowerment, it's ONLY about your metrics

    Advice to Management

Stop treating people like they are idiots. People can see through the smoke and mirrors, and know more than what you are letting on. Grossly over exaggerating potential earnings to new hires with zero experience is wrong and is causing more turnover than you would like to admit. Let your managers do their jobs and stop handcuffing them for asinine reasons.

I used to love the job, but it has become barren soulless factory for sadness at this point. I'm thrilled that I'm out of that company and the people who are running it, as I don't feel like a shady used car salesperson every day, while getting cutting my earnings to that of a fast food employee.

I have been working at Prime Communications full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Co workers have always been nice and for the most part relatable to.
If you are in a high traffic store you can do well for what the pay is.

    Cons

Little opportunity to advance unless someone steps down, quits, or you move to a different state.
Upper management recommendeds doing fraud to hit goals and they aren’t afraid to explain how you should pitch it to make the customer think it’s a deal.
Encouraged to offer bill credits to get extra opps out or set up fake Cru (company accounts) for regular consumers to hit goals.
Always some type of issue with the computers software that makes your job harder, programs have issues, internet goes down. Nothing ever works like it should.

    Advice to Management

I hope AT&T catches on to how you’re having your reps spend their credits to give to customers.
