Do your research before going lease

    Pros

You can earn decent money. You can control your own schedule and home time. You can choose which loads you want to take.

    Cons

These aren’t necessary cons, they are just things you should know. You pay for the weekly truck rental. You pay for fuel. You pay for your insurance. You pay for truck maintence. You pay for taxes quarterly. When you have required classes to take at the terminal, they withhold a truck payment which is good; however, it can take a year to pay off. They withhold the first truck payment which also can takes a year to pay off. The way to make revenue is to be out 6 weeks or more at a time or to being a trainer or team driver. It may not be worth it with the expenses that you occur. Do your research before going lease. Going complany may be a better option.

    Pros

Great company to start off with! You can grow here at prime. Insurance is pretty high the first year.

    Cons

Home time as a truck driver is hard at times and you get paid by the mile only and there's allot of free labor as a truck driver.

    Pros

Decent pay for starting out and getting experience driving. Nice to get to see the country. Good starting company to work for

    Cons

Not enough home time. Hub miles are unfair to the driver. No pay for driving out of your way to get washouts for trailers.

    Pros

Nice facility New Equipment Will honor your home time request

    Cons

Every thing they offer you must pay for Not all drivers get the same rate for the same assigned loads You dont get paid on all miles. The GPS they provide takes you on other directions which has you travel longer miles than what your being paid for.
