Poor, inept management. Too much restructuring lately and not in the right areas, but that's what happens when you have a private equity firm as your owner.

Cutting pay with 3rd Commission plan in 6 months. Extremely reactionary leadership, never forward thinking, just looking for good numbers to report to Private Equity owners. Get those numbers any way they can, cut jobs, cut pay, cut costs, no incentive to perform or sell "B" items.

Cons

This company seriously struggles with other aspects of bringing value to customers and employees. They are run by a private equity firm that has implemented sales budgets that are unrealistic while also not investing in products or services to bring value to the customers. Technology, marketing, product development, and talent pipelines are all foreign to how PrimeSource operates. Private equity ownership and current leadership has lead to a very unstable environment with multiple rounds of layoffs. Frustration and fear abounds while a few carry the workload for the many and customers are neglected. Many departments are understaffed and poorly resourced.
