I have been working at Primerica full-time

    Pros

Primerica does what is right 100% of the time. They have taught me so much about finances and I could not see myself anywhere else. !SPOILER ALERT! This is an all commission job, the income that you can make is incredible but YOU have to WORK HARD. The key to being successful in this business is getting referrals. If you can get 30 referrals during training, then you will be successful. Please do not go into this job and believe that there is a base salary. Work Part-time until you are comfortable with your presentations and make sure you have the drive and will-power to do what is right.

    Cons

You make your own hours. If you're lazy and negative, this is not for you.

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

I have seen none with my two second experience with them.

    Cons

Do your homework on this place. I did not even make it to the "Opportunity Meeting" before being insulted by the lady trying to get me there. I did my due diligence and decided that multi level marketing and commission only insurance/annuities sales was not for me. Now because I chose not to come to the meeting to listen to their pitch I was told I was not motivated nor willing to do what it takes to be successful. Like working for Primerica is the only way to be successful? I personally think not. I was also told they were looking for people that has goals in life! Wow super insulting and no way to get someone to come in.

    Advice to Management

Tell your Mission Valley, San Diego based people not to be so rude and insulting. That's not good business and not a way to garner recommendations to others.

I worked at Primerica full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Flexible schedule, practically no cost, fantastic financial education. The best part we the friendships, to bad most of them cut me off when I left. Cult...

    Cons

Captive, meaning only 1 life carrier, themselves. Product provider should be separate from the sales force. No 1 company can be all things for all people. Company is pretty cultish, like many mlms. Compensation is terrible, especially in securities, possibly worst securities business model with locked commission's, no it reduced commission on trails, haircuts on VAs, limited in available carriers, the list goes on. On the surface it's a great company, but there are so many minor flaws in the rep side that could make it a disappointing experience

    Advice to Management

Stop lying to people, even if the lies are small, like how your number came across my desk as someone that would be.... You know the drill. Also, focus more on securities, stop mass recruiting and take some of that pay that goes to the very top and bring it on down to the new huy. There's more, but I think I made my point 😊
