    Pros

    You can sleep well knowing that you are indeed helping families. Primerica has the best quality life insurance product for most people. People genuinely want to help you because if you make money, they make money. But even people on cross-teams who won’t ever make a dime off your production are happy to help you, at least in my own experience. Another pro is that your income is only limited by your own abilities, which could actually be a con for many people. The home office and other partner companies are great and are extremely useful resources to help you stay organized and compliant.

    Cons

    It’s sales. Regardless of what any “recruiter” tells you, it’s very hard work, especially for those with zero sales and people skills. Regardless of what any skeptic tells you, this is a legit opportunity, but that’s all it is: an opportunity. I would say that Primerica offers the best “opportunity” out there, but in my own experience, it seems most middle income people would rather talk about/spend money on oils and microfiber rags than on insurance and investment products. So while Primerica’s product is better for people and offers way higher commissions than a box of oils or a set of towels, for some reason, it seems much harder to market/sell, even in our current economy that has so much uncertainty. While a person from any background or experience level can succeed, this is not for everyone. While there are many success stories across many backgrounds, most people will not make a sustainable income that they can live on forever, even as RVPs. That being said, that’s true of any sales job. Most people fail at sales and it’s not because you can’t work hard enough. It’s because it’s not a good fit for you. Most people will only work hard at something they genuinely enjoy doing. For me, everyone I met or knew became a potential prospect and that made me very uncomfortable and hindered/ended some relationships, for better or worse.

    The fellow workers were really nice and supportive.

    Cons

    It was a lot of work being asked and, meanwhile, not really getting paid. Kept asking to continuously call every single person I know to recruit them without actually selling policies.

    Best value for getting life insurance license

    Cons

    Focus is pretty much ENTIRELY on recruiting. I have cried and begged my field Trainor and people in the "training" videos to give me a shred of information on the actual products, to no avail.
