Hours are nice, off by 6:30 at the latest, no weekends.. Working with kids fun.. I always had amazing parents

    Cons

    Never get raises
    Management is awful

Hire a management team that cares about staff members

I worked at Primrose (Less than a year)

    Pros

The children and co-workers. Free food is OK.

    Cons

If you want to be over work and over looked this is the company for you. The director there has no problems abusing and talking down to her employees. It is not a healthy environment for people who want to be treated with kindness and fairness . Low wages and a abusive boss is what you will receive! :(

    Advice to Management

    RUN!

I have been working at Primrose full-time

    Pros

    Great co-workers
    Paid time off
    Vacations allowed
    Wonderful kids

    Cons

Management sucks!!! They are not honest with the teachers and they never openly communicate with the teachers about school and staff issues.

    I worked at Primrose full-time

    Pros

Teachers really care about they're students. Lovely children and most parents are very understanding. Owners are sweet and caring.

    Cons

Poor managent, they lie when they say there's 3 teachers per clasroom. Expect too much from their teachers but offer little support. Also rooms are expected to be clean at all times, which is hard to do if there's 2 staff watching 10 children. Also students loose interest playing with the same toys everyday 2 to 3 times a day.
Biting issues coming from a child at least 3 times a week for months. After parents complaint they add a third staff for a few days or hours. I was moving out of town and put in my two weeks notice. Management told a parent the biting was due to poor supervision from a teacher that was soon leaving. Very unprofessional to throw some one under the bus due to their poor decision making.

    Advice to Management

Support teachers to keep them longer rather than draining them. Follow what you preach.

    Pros

The children make it worth it.

    Cons

Some of the children are a handful. The management is questionable as well.

    Advice to Management

    Treat your employees with respect.

I have been working at Primrose (Less than a year)

    Pros

They are some pretty nice people. The director really take this job and the wellbeing of those student serious. If you do not love kids this job is not for you. Overall I have not been offered any benefits and the pay sucks but hey it's a great foundation to build a career.

    Cons

No benefits facility is kind of small a lot of kids and they do not rotate during the day. You don't get a chance to train properly before entering classrooms staff is not drug tested and you have to pay for your background check. Weird but ok

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. I really don't have nothing bad to say about management but I think employees need to be drug tested and throughly trained before entering classrooms and throughly examined.

    I worked at Primrose full-time

    Pros

It is a good job, but the company is very specific on what they want.
If you are invested, you will do great

    Cons

Sometimes, the management didn't do much. I went from assistant to lead in one month...
In Primrose, that is difficult because of all of their specific curriculum.

    Advice to Management

Train more. Follow the rule book, and hold everyone to the same expectations.
