    Pros

Salary and Benefits. If working with children and parents is appareling to your then this is great job! Great work hours if you are not in management

    Cons

To much cover-up and if you don't do as they say your job is in jeopardy. Long hours is you are in management. People don't listen to you even when what you are saying is good for the company and would prevent the school system from losing money

    Advice to Management

Be prepared for long hours and a lot of brown nosing. It can keep you from your family. You get calls in the evening at night and on the weekend. It si a choice you need to make. If you have young children plesae think first.

I worked at Prince Georges County Public Schools (MD) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Does a good job on onboarding new teachers. Great relocation benefits. Generally a lot of opportunities within the school district for growth and mentorship.

    Cons

The students can be very very tough to manage. There is a wide achievement gap between this and high achieving districts...depending on which school you are placed.
