    Pros

Teachers have autonomy in the classroom. There is so little oversight, I can essentially teach whatever I want to my students and assess them however I decide to.

    Cons

Teachers receive very little instructional, emotional, or professional support from administration. Teachers feel isolated, overwhelmed, and burnt out.

    Advice to Management

Support your teachers! Instead of assuming that teachers are not doing the job that they are required to do, do some root cause analysis to figure out where the real problems lie, and then DO something about it. Otherwise, your good teachers will keep leaving.

    Pros

Salary and Benefits. If working with children and parents is appareling to your then this is great job! Great work hours if you are not in management

    Cons

To much cover-up and if you don't do as they say your job is in jeopardy. Long hours is you are in management. People don't listen to you even when what you are saying is good for the company and would prevent the school system from losing money

    Advice to Management

Be prepared for long hours and a lot of brown nosing. It can keep you from your family. You get calls in the evening at night and on the weekend. It si a choice you need to make. If you have young children plesae think first.
