Good amount of teamwork and collaboration. I would say almost everyone is very nice and they certainly are good at what they do supporting the local UT/SLC market. Really no reach outside of Utah however. You also have the ability to make your career journey what you want it to be.

Cons

The culture there is very much stuck in the past, centered around the idea of needing to be in the office with very little opportunity to truly work from home or feel like you can. Benefits are not great/very expensive, PTO is very much below market standard. The CEO values loyalty above all else and will forget about you/treat you differently if you show you are not loyal to her. She can be quite toxic.

They're pretty hands off, they simply let you do your work.

You won't receive regular communication unless you are the initiator.

PP does an excellent job at investing in their own workforce, they understand that their workforce is their best asset.

To be honest none, if I had a complaint, it would be to allow more work life balance.

I've worked with some great employers, but nothing compares to my experience thus far at PPA! Talented, hard-working employees, fun culture, entrepreneurial spirit, with a setting that encourages and promotes a healthy culture of growth. They treat all of their clients, candidates, and associates in a very professional and caring manner. I am proud to be part of this team where we have the opportunity to change people's lives and find them their dream jobs.

Cons

Pros

We have an amazing group of employees who work here and who truly care about each other. We are living in very challenging times at the moment and everyone is working hard to support each other and also continue in our mission to find top talent for our clients. There are many employees who have worked here for a long time, which is really nice. Company events are always planned which is great as it brings us all together outside of the workplace, and it is great for getting to know each other on a more personal level. Also having the opportunity to volunteer and/or raise money for non-profits in the community is very uplifting.

Cons

Just like other businesses, we have had to make some difficult decisions. Although COVID has affected so many, it has been motivating to see the creativity put into place to gain momentum during these trying times.

Fun team environment with lots of opportunity to build on your professional skills. The work is always interesting and gives you a chance to learn so much about the different businesses.
