I worked at Pritchard Industries full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Doing different tasks in each building I am assigned to. It was a excellent experience on what I have learned from my fellow employees and the building staff.

    Cons

I'm not a union member, salary does not increase unless you're a permanent worker.

    Advice to Management

With a lot of respect for Mr. Peter Pritchard and his staff in the NYC area and beyond. Of my nine months (July 2015 -June 2016) working for Pritchard Industries. I wanted to say thank you to the operations staff and the 20+ buildings including Supervisors, Foremans and their workers that it was a great pleasure working with all of you and it's time to move forward. What I learned from all of you, I will do it for my future.

                                                      Thank You

    Cons

They don't pay over time...regular pay no time and a half....

    Advice to Management

Managers that take care of the workers have slot to do... They take the credit when it comes to good work but when something bad they attack workers...

I worked at Pritchard Industries full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

no HR dept but that's also a bad thing

the employees are fun and it felt like a family

    Cons

    plenty.
uncomfortable atmosphere due to the managers

would have to ask for raises when the employees did not get raises for 2 years

company is not big enough for employee growth. once you start a position that's as far as you go

Worked with the company over 5 years in the administrative office. the owner and his wife both are in the office and that made for a very tense, you can be fired at any minute atmosphere. It was like walking on egg shells. I stayed that long because the job market was so bad at the time. When I was let go the company did not give me a severance pay even though it states that I should be given 4 weeks severance in their employee handbook and when I confronted the company about it I was told that the handbook I had was an old one and that a new one was made. Hard to imagine that severance pay package was taken out of the handbook.
I was offered...offered and given time to accept a position as the office manager for the DC office then it was taken away because the CFO and the AP manager did not tell the presidents wife of the offer so then I was told it wasn't an but an "evaluation"

few days before I was fired the controller just quit the company. got his bonus and left the company

    Advice to Management

    I don't have any

I worked at Pritchard Industries full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Had ADP payroll system that I could jump right in and utilize.

    Cons

Others in other depts were not sociable and talked about each other!

    Advice to Management

Try to control those that hate others for their competency, and teach them that they could probably learn new things from new comers instead of criticizing them.
