I have been working at Pro Image full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Surrounded in an energetic, non stop sports environment. Top of the line current sports merchandise available year long.

    Cons

Pay is not the best for the volume of the store. Store should be geared more to clothing and less towards novelties to drive sales up.

    Advice to Management

Adequate pay along with changing the look of the store for each sports season helps keep the look of the store fresh.

I worked at Pro Image for more than a year

    Pros

If you love sports and people, this job is for you. Very flexible on scheduling and discounts on merchandise.

    Cons

No room for growth, very unorganized location, management wasn't on point, no benefits offered, commission is a joke

    Advice to Management

Need to learn organization skills within the store, it was mayhem trying to sell when you have 90% of your stock stuck in a bin in the back and nobody knows about it while the computer tells you you have it, then you look dumb to the customer.

I worked at Pro Image part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Really nice people. Very simple job. Management is pretty flexible with scheduling. There's a little bit of commission, so that's nice. Pretty laid back in the off seasons (ie. Spring/Summer). Hectic and busy in the fall leading up to holiday season. If you're outgoing, you'll do well. Just talk to people and find out what they want and how you can help or inform them. People know that sports merch is pricey so if they're...

    Cons

They have a policy of greeting everyone within 30 seconds, which can seem overbearing to the customer if you rush up to them to greet them. Constantly asking if they're finding everything alright can be annoying and will turn some people off. You have to have the right balance of making sure they know you're there to help but giving them space to browse on their own.

    Advice to Management

Better communication, perhaps. Make sure someone that is capable is in charge. And try to hire college students, because high school students generally have less commitment to their work.

    Pros

It's a great place to work if you're in high school and college and need flexible part-time work, and love sports.

    Cons

Salary Boss was busy running a new business venture

    Advice to Management

Make sure your franchise owners are 100% engaged in their franchise, and not focusing on other business ventures.

I have been working at Pro Image

    Pros

Management is very open and flexible; interacting with the customers was very enjoyable; upper level management was always willing to listen

    Cons

Pay could be better, but it is along the lines of similar jobs; while upper level management did listen, they did not always act on suggestions for improvement

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees who interact with customers on a daily basis and know what they're needs and wants are
