I worked at ProHealth Physicians full-time

    Pros

Accomodating boss, you will work in a family-like atmosphere, accuracy and proficiency is most important and the patient's health is number one.

    Cons

There is no way to move up. Although the boss is accommodating, there is very little communication. You barely get a raise and the hours are non-negotiable.

    Advice to Management

Do not make promises that cannot be kept. For example, stating that hours can be switched once starting work.

    Pros

Great learning experience for prospective medical students. In depth experience with physicians, behind-the-scenes of what life as an MD is like

    Pros

Mother-friendly hours, welcoming staff, gracious toward new comers, diversity of staff

    Cons

More independent training style requires some determination and steeliness to navigate. Also, modified schedule for new techs can be easily undone as patients are added to schedule.

    Advice to Management

More formal 1 month training for new techs

    Negative Outlook

I worked at ProHealth Physicians full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Doctors and office staff are very dedicated

    Cons

President is only one who can make a decision - all other mgrs. fear being wrong so take no risk.

    Advice to Management

Board should open its eyes and ask questions of managers.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at ProHealth Physicians part-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The office in which I work is friendly and convenient.

    Cons

The rigidity of corporate policies inhibits employee growth.

    Advice to Management

Realize that you cannot put a square peg in a round hole....policies that work for one office may not work so well in another office. Flexibility in policies is needed.

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at ProHealth Physicians full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

My coworkers excluding providers were great. I think overall the company has good concepts just needs to bring more unity to offices.

    Cons

Poor pay, no raises, segmented from other ProHealth offices despite direct connection, when MD was off if no other MD or provider available you had to use your PTO or file unemployment.
