The business is growing and there is no limit to the opportunities for innovative, talented, team members. Highly collaborative, strong leadership support and clients love us!

    Cons

In a flat organization, we wear a lot of hats and some weeks can be overwhelming (but we play hard, too!)

    Advice to Management

Recognize both the effort and the wins.

I have been working at ProKarma full-time

    Pros

Work in your home area, very little travel. It is a small company so getting noticed for good performance is easy. I am paid pretty well.

    Cons

Getting praised / rewarded for your good performance is almost non-existent. If you are of Indian (India) then don't plan to go up the ladder. They have a reputation as cheap consulting. Low bill rates so low pay rates. This is just a perception but it is a very bad one in consulting.

    Advice to Management

Stop being a boy's club and start acting like a company who values its people.

    Advice to Management

Not a place where good developers will want to stay.

    Pros

At company retreats you get to drink like a fish

    Cons

The worst PTO/Benefits package I have ever seen.
Raises simply are not possible, regardless of tenure.

Unless you are of the same ethnic origin as the owners and/or are a family member of someone high-up you will not be given the same growth opportunities nor work resources. Their approach and methodology on how they grant titles, opportunities for advancement, and positions is at best unethical. In most companies of this size or larger, these practices would actually be considered high risk and corrupt. It’s commonplace to see people gain lofty job titles, career advancement, and positions as favors. The top producers in Sales and Recruiting all are either family members, close family friends or of the same ethnic background as the owners. The highest billing employee in recruiting company-wide is a sibling of one of the owners. This person was provided opportunities and resources that no one else was given: including pass through placements from the client's, expensive sourcing tools, and an exclusive team of recruiters/sourcers to directly support them. The favors they were extended positioned them to have a distinct and unfair advantage over their peers.

Many people over the past few years in Sales and Recruiting tried to lobby for equal treatment but it was to no avail.
