I worked at Proactive Worldwide full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

You learn a ton about so many different topics, great place to both start and progress your career, a generally moderate to high project workload forces you to be efficient and learn to prioritize, flex work hours and work from home policy - results oriented culture, good benefits for a small company, high-standard deliverables can be difficult to deal with in the moment but ultimately help you in the long run

    Cons

New employee orientation can be improved - analysts and researchers often left to train new employees while taking on a full workload, silo’d practices can lead to inconsistent SOPs and sharing of best practices

    Advice to Management

Bring in employees that challenge conventional Proactive wisdom / thought - it will only help you evolve and adapt, it’s a top-heavy org - researchers and analysts ultimately drive new and ongoing business so focus more on bringing in talent there rather than PM and VP, bring back culture of knowledge sharing enterprise wide ( I.e. monthly or quarterly trainings on topics of interest),

I worked at Proactive Worldwide full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Interesting projects for the most part that span across multiple industries. Great place to build a general business knowledge base.

    Cons

Some of the ways they conduct their business can seem a bit shady. Projects are sold with seemingly little thought to resource allocation resulting in impossible timelines. No diversity in staff and relatively few staff have much experience outside of the firm. Salary and benefits are sub-par at best, leadership is lacking, and with the small size of the company there are lots of cliques. General culture is,... well not good.

    Advice to Management

You need more diversity, it will only improve your product.

I have been working at Proactive Worldwide full-time

    Pros

Retaining the start-up mindset is terrific in terms of running fairly lean operations and encouraging creativity without putting up a lot of barriers to implementation. Compensation and benefits are good.

    Cons

Personalities dominate, with resulting cliques and personality conflicts. Also has a serious lack of diversity overall, especially in leadership.

    Advice to Management

Be alert to certain practice heads who seek to subtly retaliate against people who disagree or push back against them.

    I worked at Proactive Worldwide

    Pros

One of the best reasons to work at Proactive Worldwide was the organizational culture. Co-workers were really friendly and helpful to interns.

    Cons

One of the downsides of working at Proactive Worldwide was that sometimes employees will not tell the interns what to expect on a daily basis. Quite often interns were left confused as to where the meetings were.

    Advice to Management

Overall, interning at Proactive Worldwide was a wonderful experience for me. I thought the leadership that it provided to employees was fantastic, and it clearly shows when everybody is getting along.
