    Pros

Big independence at my position, regional and global impact. Some very clever and intelligent colleague, if you are a woman you have more opportunities

    Cons

You become a manager before you should be and the operators doesn't believe in you. B3 managers plays their games in not a good way.

    Advice to Management

Educate themselves to proof their relevancy.

    Pros

Real responsibilities starting from the first day of work. HUGE company with stable background and a competitive salary. Hiring from within. Good for graduates.

    Cons

Work can be overwhelming. Work life balance suffers. Thanks to the rotational system people are often unprofessional. Too much burocracy without the systems/staffing to operate it.

    Advice to Management

Servant leadership. Concentrate on the basics. Open your eyes. Get rid of the inadept. Stand up for what is right. Plan long time ahead instead of constant firefighting.

I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

P&G is a great place to learn personally and professionally as well.
Compensation and benefits are greater than in most of the companies around.

    Cons

No freedom to do what you want and what you think will grow the business.
How to show off your performance is way more important than your actual results.
Something is wrong with the culture.

    Advice to Management

Fix the culture and create career opportunities for the Gen Y as well.

    Pros

    High responsibility
    Lot of different, exciting projects
    Very high learning curve
Intelligent people and very good working environment
Possible job opportunity after the internship

    Cons

I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Real responsibility from day one. Good trainings, new challenges every week, good work life balance, compensation and benefits.

    Cons

Your progress depends highly on your manager. In case your manager is not motivated to sign the team up for new projects you will find it hard to get noticed.
Once they hire you it is hard to get fired, Even though someone's incompetence is clearly visible. In these cases managers rather try to get a new assignment for the employee at an other department then act.

    Advice to Management

Change the system in a way, that not your whole career depends on one manager.
Don't be so soft handed. In case of serious mismanagement don't be afraid to fire someone.

I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Quality of people is awesome at Procter and Gamble. You work with people who could be your friends and from whom you may learn every week.

    Cons

Level of stress can be high sometimes; work-life balance usually suffers as a result - the root cause is usually that workload could be higher vs. competitive companies.

I worked at Procter & Gamble as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

You are responsible for your own project
you have a mentor who helps you get settled and with advices during your work
you have to present and get feedback about your work to top local management
after a successful internship you get a job offer

    Cons

the program is quite a stress test
you might feel lost at the beginning
but after you got used to the idea, that you are responsible for your project and find the people in the company who can help you with information and insight it will be fun

I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I joined as an A&T (admins&technicians) so my review is from that PoV.
    - Real responsibility from day 1
    - Great learning opportunities at all levels, at all assignments.
    - Smart people to work with
    - You can peak into lot of areas
    - Some outstanding low and mid managers both in people management skills and in business/technical knowledge

    Cons

    - Work/life balance is close to be non-existent
    - as an A&T, 'looking out of the box' is hard due to the workload in one concentrated area
    - starting salary below the regional average for the job, it gets better if you get your raises the way they promised (much dependent on your manager)
    - promotions depend too much on your immediate manager - so your salary path can become quite flat
    - there's a 'glass ceiling' between the managers and the A&Ts, getting promoted to manager level takes at least 5 years regardless of your talent or abilities, yet you can have a fresh graduate with zero experience and Supply Network knowledge presented as your next manager - or worse, you can get one from a completely different area with zero former experience/studies in the field of SN. SN managers are rarely promoted from within.
    - limited number of interesting A&T jobs to choose from for rotation
    - usually way understaffed, driving a tremendous number of overtime hours, uncompensated but required, which leads to big fluctuation

    Advice to Management

Create real 'fast track' career path for A&Ts as well and help the selected ones grow.
