I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

great talented people. Fun environment via digital office. Work flexibility (can work from home up to 2 days/week).

    Cons

It can take a while before we make any decisions as we do take very calculated risks in our analysis before taking a decision...sometimes it can be at our disadvantage.

    Advice to Management

We understand that P&G employees work on big business and we want to take the minimum risks but we need to move this big ship boat faster buy being able to reduce our decision time

I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay is above industry average. Work life balance is solid. The best cpg company to work for by far

    Cons

Downsizing is going on - a lot of senior managers just waiting to be 'packaged out'. Quite a few work from home managers who don't take the time to develop you.

    Advice to Management

Don't give managers working remotely new hire direct reports.

    Pros

The people are great and very smart. You are never the smartest person in the room even though you were probably top of the class. The salary and benefits are very competitive.

    Cons

The company can get mired in red tape and move like molasses. Sometimes decisions are made based on data analysis 'paralysis' but no one is willing to take a little risk. Job titles are not comparable to responsibility. Very little job momentum once you reach a certain level, unless you are willing to relocate to Cincinnati.

    Advice to Management

Retain millennials by allowing the inflated job titles at comparable companies. It will make Gen Xers feel better too. Also, something needs to be done to combat the culture of over preparation, especially for meetings with senior management.

I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Amazing learning experience, giving a lot of autonomy and responsibility at entry level, opportunities to move roles and locations, flexible work schedule, good work/life balance

    Cons

Slow moving company, not as innovative as it once was, process heavy, all decisions based on data only so limited risk taking with new tactics

    Advice to Management

Push for more risk taking, especially for more junior roles since many companies offer millennials space for experimental with marketing and their roles.

    Pros

Great people to work with. The company is great school and definitively one of the best corporation to launch a career.

    Cons

The company is currently going through a lot of changes and there have been a lot of cuts and re-organization. Doesn't seem to be done soon.

I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    - The company invests in your professional development in a substantial way
    - Opportunity to work on global projects (and sometimes travel)
    - Work with some great people
    - Well compensated

    Cons

As with many large companies sometimes decision making requires approvals from a large number of people... What a large company considers agile/nimble is very different from what a startup might consider agile/nimble.

I worked at Procter & Gamble (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Benefits, competitive salary for positions

    Cons

Work/Life balance - only a place for those totally dedicated to building a career versus a life. Expectations exceed time available to deliver in a regular work week - even for a high achiever

    Advice to Management

Stop cutting employees to improve the bottom line
