    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Variety of assignments (you change your role every +/-2 years, so it's really hard to get bored. Finance is considered the right hand of business management, and is a perceived as key business partner in taking the decisions, so F&A work is inspiring and full of content, mostly not technical, but analytical. Great learning opportunities (variety of corp training, on-the-job training).

    Cons

The growth may be limited (now company moves to longer assignments, so the time needed to get to next level is longer), and this reduces number of free positions available, as again people are spending much longer now. The salary link to results and performance is not really direct.

    Advice to Management

Outline clear career opportunities for the functions, and to link salaries to results more clearly, e more aggressive on up or out... B2/B3 pools are too big, creating a bottle neck.

    Cons

Career progression requires long hours. Company very big and communication inside the company sometimes takes too long

    Advice to Management

Continue to develop and invest into employees
