I worked at Professional Alternative as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Get paid on a weekly basis. Nice people but you cannot trust them. Easy time sheet submission. Did I say get paid weekly?

    Cons

In Massachusetts make employees pay there own paid sick leave. No other staffing company is doing this. Does not give raises or profit sharing despite what was said when hired.

    Advice to Management

    Don't be so cheap.

    Cons

Promised me a raise in my rate after 1 year with them. Still havent delivered. Most of my colleagues under them also experienced the same.

    Advice to Management

Value your resource. Profit comes in second

I have been working at Professional Alternative full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Good people, management, and environment.

    Cons

    Workplace politics and entitlement issues

    Advice to Management

It might be a good idea to reign in the workplace politics among people who aren't in a position to behave as though they are entitled. It makes it hard to work with people who believe they are above other people in the office and are never told to stand down or put in their place by upper management.
