I worked at Professional Employment Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you perform well, management will leave you alone and let you produce. There is no cap on commission, so you can greatly impact your salary. There is no path for advancement, the highest performers are not the ones necessarily selected for promotion.

    Cons

CEO makes changes to business/strategy on a whim. Only real focus is on contract staffing, no support for direct placement position, even though they bring in more revenue.

    Advice to Management

Take a look at other staffing companies' structure. Create a path of upward mobility.

I worked at Professional Employment Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You get a paycheck every two weeks, and good benefit options. Otherwise, there is nothing positive about working here.

    Cons

Stay away!!!!!!! CEO is highly unprofessional. Knows nothing about staffing. They push the idea of a PEG "family" only when it is in the best interest of the CEO, Karen Spann.

    Advice to Management

Good luck. Seriously, good luck. You act like you are religious but you are a racist and deep down you are not a good person.

    Pros

PEG has been a great place for me. They have had contract positions that have been wonderful. It is a great way of getting your foot into various top companies they work with. I highly recommend that you talk to the permanent side and contract side to see what your options are.

    Cons

I have no cons with this company. I have worked with many other agencies and I feel PEG is one of the more professional companies I have had the opportunity to work with. Keep doing what you are doing.

    Advice to Management

I am just a very happy employee and thank you for everything.

I have been working at Professional Employment Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You'll never find a CEO who cares more about each individual in their company than at PEG. Great opportunities for growth!

    Cons

Fast paced demanding work environment - definitely not for the thin skinned or folks looking to just punch in and punch out.

    Advice to Management

Keep training lower level employees and good things will continue happening.

I worked at Professional Employment Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fun parties and potential to make money if your account executive likes you.

    Cons

Everyone is sneaky. Upper management keeps everything a secret and then drops bombs on their employees. The CEO has absolutely no experience in staffing. They company is run horribly.. There is no real training.

    Advice to Management

Get a new CEO and hire people who know what they are doing.

I worked at Professional Employment Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Individual rewards for individual effort, friendly environment, challenging production goals, great experience for resume to launch into HR or management, good training. Nice co-workers/staff.

    Cons

Very results/metrics driven, definitely more of a sales oriented position which means constantly trying to meet your numbers. Sales environment = not for everyone. You have to be on top of what you are doing constantly so you don't fall behind on filing jobs/meeting your goals.

    Advice to Management

No issues with management really other than to keep doing contests and other motivating things because being a Recruiter can be a real grind without having something fun to work towards other than a paycheck.
