    Pros

    Mission
Helping people learn to manage complex illness independently, stay at home
Multiple service lines means more services for our patients
    Many talented hard working people
Mgt team of clinical operations talented, very experienced
    Strong clinical programs incl hospice

    Cons

Penny wise and pound foolish decision making
Lacks awareness that company might have to spend money to make money
Oddly structured so that support functions-IT, finance, etc. are more important than clinical operations, but which is revenue producing?
Be realistic about workload of Mgt team

    Advice to Management

    Provide management training
Recognize this is 2017 in the US in DC metro area-- requirements of employees have changed!
Invest in technology--poor systems, absurd internet service, etc is like a 3rd world country! A clunky documentation system does not help retain staff
The slow internet and other various tech issues deeply impair productivity
Why do you pay consultants to give advice when you have not even asked your own management team?
    Collect information, not gossip!

    Pros

Eileen DeCesare, a compassionate CEO and RN. Would recommend she consider how she started the company, the values she instilled in each employee during its founding years and LISTENING closely to what employees are needing to ensure clients are taken care of appropriately

    Cons

Need a better balance between finance and quality. Recognize the hard workers and support low performers out the door. Would be of interest to start from field clinicians who submit substandard documentation !

    Advice to Management

    Focus on PEOPLE!

Give your employees reasons to really like working for you. Just don't think pay motivates someone to do their job.

I worked at Professional Healthcare Resources, Inc. full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

From ownership through the entire management team, this organization was about teaching, guiding improving and always improving the quality and reach of home healthcare and hospice services. It would be tough to find a more fair, equitable, honorable or exemplary corporation than this one. If my husband had not transferred, I would be honored to still work for them and if I could bring them out West I would. I've never worked for such an excellent and truy professional organization as this one. ALl companies should follow their example!

    Cons

No cons with the company. My territory was difficult because of the changes in the healthcare system but the company was always supportive, helpful and as good as any could possibly be!

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing. I would not change a t career experience!hing. Thank you for a most exemplary
