I have been working at Project Resource full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Excellent office and company wide mentality and environments. Invested in each person that comes through the door with support and training. Rewards seen with performance ASAP - no false promises. Clear and direct career progression, and opportunities. Transparent company - colleagues always willing to help and Directors equally never let you down.

    Cons

With any sales job it is drive based, if you just want a job then this isn't the place. If you work hard and have a desire to achieve / be rewarded for it - apply direct.

    Advice to Management

Keep going strong - you're always forward thinking, and always improving.

    Pros

None - I have nothing positive to say about my experience

    Cons

Everything - very long hours. run like a dictatorship. just don't bother. so many people have left it is a joke. have shut down two regional offices recently and made redundancies because they are a sinking ship

I have been working at Project Resource full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Management and Directors work hard to develop employees and offer great incentives and opportunities to grow your career within the business. There is a real focus on quality service and results for customers, rather than your industry standard 'hit your metric' mindset.

    Cons

There aren't any cons that would deter people from staying or joining the business.

I worked at Project Resource full-time

    Pros

Excellent company, sprinkled with consultants who are market leading experts in their fields. Project Resource have a work hard play hard attitude with the most successful consultants earning trips abroad, fine dining experiences and huge commission paychecks. From my experience the management team are both approachable and supportive, they will put time and effort in helping you become a success as long as you show the...

Its a role where you get out what you put in, so if you want to be a financial success, you can expect to work hard and do long hours. Not for the faint-hearted.

I worked at Project Resource full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Firstly, the prior reviews have been written because individuals were asked too that currently work there. There was such a stigma against Glassdoor at my time with the company. The recruitment industry is not for everyone and Project Resource's induction gives you a good understanding of what the job entails. You are partnered up with individuals working the same desk as you in other offices, which gives you a support...

    Cons

I worked within an office that was not the favourite and very much was overlooked, in favour of Solihull. It was dog eat dog and individuals would throw you under a bus to get a deal. MD's focus on your targets, however no proper help or training is given in order to achieve them - when you do ask for help you are almost laughed at. You will be given a contract that states your hours being 8:30am - 5:30pm - god forbid...

    Advice to Management

Be honest with your employees. If you want them to be working certain hours - put it in their contract!!! Dont favour key individuals in the team, as this is what causes your high turnover of staff.

Thanks for your feedback, we'll be certain to take your comments on board and discuss these with the leadership team. We have recently changed our induction content and are very specific with the expectations regarding working hours, as in all jobs there is the requirement at times ...

I worked at Project Resource full-time for more than a year

    Pros

You will be trained by the best in the business. The Directors are very hands on and genuinely care if you succeed or fail. They are always contactable and sit in the office with everyone else helping day to day. At a company and office level there is a real family feel. They have excellent systems, relationships and tools to help you succeed. This is by far the most important positive. If you struggle to succeed...

    Cons

The only negative I can really think of is that sometimes it can feel like you are micromanaged but I put that down to them caring.

    Advice to Management

A bit more autonomy would be nice if you have proven yourself but on the whole it is a brilliant business which gave me all the skills I needed to make a success of myself moving forward.

    StarStarStarStarStar
Current Employee - Business Manager in Manchester, England

I have been working at Project Resource full-time for more than 8 years

      Pros

The best environment out there for recruiters who take ownership for their own performance. Full control of your career, you make the decisions. Full support & training from leading consultants in their industry Strong reputation for providing the highest quality of staff to their clients Niche but not micro-niche so room for growth Very ambitious! They want to get the best out of every situation. Rewards are...

      Cons

Hard work & long hours, not for those who say they want to work hard & truly don't. Ambition sometimes leads to a slight lack of planning. Standards are high so unless your up for the challenge you won't last, show the right attitude & you will.

      Advice to Management

Keep the core business ethos, don't bend. Value client relationships highly. Keep the ambition high! Keep the rewards as good as they are!
