I worked at Proscan Imaging Centers full-time

    Pros

I felt valued as an employee and my input and opinion mattered. Co-workers were great and we had nice teamwork.

    Cons

Potential cons were similar to other imaging employers with tight schedules and sometimes did not have enough time to image more difficult clients.

    Advice to Management

Keep in mind the caring part of healthcare because sometimes the company profit gets in the way with over-scheduling clients that need more time and care.

I have been working at Proscan Imaging Centers full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Small and relaxed environment, not a lot of over your shoulder supervision, decent pay, decent hours, call volume itself is pretty low, employees and supervisor are very helpful and easy to work with.

    Cons

The upper management, the system is complex, training is hard to get. You learn by experience which is difficult at first.

    Advice to Management

Management should know all aspects of the job and be thorough.

  5. "Front Office Coordinator"

    Pros

The company pays well. They offer bonuses. The office environment was nice. If you needed to purchase something for the office they were generous and accomodating.

    Cons

Terribly tyranic upper management. Lots of overtime hours. Never knew what time I would get off of work. No respect for employees. Physician's are the only people who matter. Management uses scare tactics.

    Advice to Management

    Show all employees respect.

I worked at Proscan Imaging Centers full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Proscan provides relatively good pay and PTO for its employees.

    Cons

Poorly trained management, no opportunity for advancement, very little on-the-job training, staff is seldom given any positive feedback, salary increases are very low, and health insurance is poor considering this is a health facility.

    Advice to Management

If you want productivity and morale to increase, you will need to treat your employees with more respect.

    Pros

If you like just having a job with a pay check, then this is for you.

    Cons

No incentive programs, no room to grow. Can be very stressful, a lot of immaturity through out the company. You have your good and bad people of the company. No rewards for hard work. All company activities canceled, except holiday party. Work life balance can be difficult.

I worked at Proscan Imaging Centers full-time

    Pros

They treat their employees well. Nice 401k match. Great perks. Holiday party, company picnic with great prizes, great holiday department meals. They don't skimp on their employees.

    Cons

Health Insurance is a bit expensive. Upper level management has a really high turnover therefore a lot of ongoing changes. Small company, so don't expect to be able to move up the ladder here.

Great place to work. All of the management and coworkers are very friendly and helpful. Interning at Proscan provided meaningful experience to my career and was absolutely a great opportunity for me.

I can't think of any cons to interning at Proscan. I had a very busy schedule while I was working, and the company allowed me to work a very flexible schedule.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work! I had a great experience at Proscan and would be honored to work for the company again!
