I have been working at Proservice Hawaii full-time

    Pros

Proservice truly is one of the best places to work. The whole company is rooted in its core values and those are exemplified on a daily basis. Other pros are: Super great benefits and lots of food Fun culture and awesome coworkers An inspirational yet down to earth CEO Proservice is a job, but they encourage a healthy work-life balance. It is a place where people aren't just told what to do, but learn how to think...

    Cons

Proservice is super accommodating to every person's needs, but maybe having different office locations around the island could help with others' commute

    Advice to Management

Keep being awesome and making this a fun place to work :)

I have been working at Proservice Hawaii full-time for less than a year

    Pros

ProService has built a wonderful culture and has a passion for service. Whether it be caring for its internal employees or our clients. The Culture is incredible, they foster career growth, and support the "right fit" for the employee and the role. Its also very rewarding working with some many people all dedicated to their clients and getting their job done well. Also really good communication and alignment on our goals...

    Cons

Sometimes I do think the executive team focuses on a Work harder vs. Work smarter mentality but we continue to grow, learn and reevaluate as needed which is crucial.

    Advice to Management

Don't be too afraid of change. Technology is here to help and is the future so embrace the changes, adjust processes, learn, and be the champion of the tech to get clients excited about all the benefits.

I worked at Proservice Hawaii full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

They offer free soft drinks and snacks.

    Cons

Literally everything else Executive team leadership is non-existent The pay is low and they have no career advancement opportunities Half of the projects you work on will never see the light of day Politics run the organization - Your skill level and expertise mean nothing Management style is top-down, keep the foot on the neck of the employees and make them feel as inferior as possible Despite your expertise,...

    Advice to Management

Lead. Seriously, instead of blaming all of your mistakes on your employees try to actually pick a strategy/direction and stick to it. Stop having hair-trigger reactions to any changes and re-organizing the entire company to fix one problem. People are overworked unnecessarily because executives can't admit they don't know what they're doing in certain areas and refuse to listen to advice from experts in their field. ...

I have been working at Proservice Hawaii full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Management does try to make Proservice fun, but it seems almost cult like at times with the huge emphasis on the companies values. There are free breakfasts on Friday as well as casual Friday so thats pretty nice!

    Cons

Very disorganized environment, I feel like they hire and plan the organizations needs very poorly. Employees seem to just be shifted around into positions and tasks that they didn't sign up for (which is fine but this should be emphasized during the interview process). Also, pay is poor even for Hawaii.

    Advice to Management

More organization would go a very long way.

I have been working at Proservice Hawaii full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Awesome perks. Large company with room for movement. After 1 year in your position you have the ability to apply for other higher positions

    Cons

Training is rough. Not your traditional day by day training. They train when they can and expect you to manage yourself

    Advice to Management

Standardized training will really help with employee retention
