    Pros

    Customer Service is BIG focus. Company strives to hire most talented leaders. CEO has the right vision and taking company in great direction. Technology is top notch. P1 is striving to becoming one of the best places to work. Compared to competition P1 shines as BEST IN CLASS!

    Cons

    It truly is hard to find true Cons. Anything I can think of that is a weak area is in the process of revision and strengthening. If I had to name one thing that could improve it's their LMS system and branch level training program. It is all PC based and the testing doesn't allow for real learning.

    Advice to Management

    Invest in quality training for the branches with actual people, not just a online module. Online modules should only compliment the quality training program in place.

    Overtime as needed, helping people, challenging, good benefits

    Cons

    Rules don't apply to everyone, management has favorites, too little quality control for clientele requests/account documentation, performance goals all about numbers not about quality, very little supervision of dispatchers on the floor, businesses/customers frequently calling in to complain about bad maintenance or failure to follow up on service or technical issues that affected their security, when referring a... complaint to someone they generally got blown off instead of assisted which made customer service calls difficult, advancement was available but definitely NOT desired due to small increases in pay and HUGE increases in expectations/liabilities.

    Spend your energy making sure customers are receiving quality service/monitoring rather than focusing on call processing times.

    Pros

    Great benefits. Great pay as long as you know someone higher up. Co-workers were very friendly and welcoming. Excellent trainers, they get you to where you need to be. Easy work and very laid back. 99% of management was amazing.

    Cons

    Favoritism was present quite frequently. Some supervisors didn't deserve their positions. One supervisor in particular is having relations with the customer service manager/control supervisor. His entire control center team act like gods due to the fact they knew about his affair and helped him hide it from his ex-wife before they got divorced. I would stay away from customer service. All other departments were... amazing.

    Advice to Management

    End the unprofessional relationships and favoritism. Keep control center in check. You can't keep defending them in HR cases. It will come back to you eventually.

    Pros

    Good air conditioning, good location,hour lunches. Not horrible pay. Most reps in customer service kansas are pretty nice people. Good trees.

    Cons

    Customers and supervisors,control center, other departments are so disrespectful and hateful. But you can't say anything about it or to them. Management and sups stand around talking all day or smoking. But if you need one, nothing. No commissions or bonuses, and even if you have pto you still get an attendance points even with calling in.

    You say you care about your reps. you need to act like it

    Pros

    Freedom to work your own schedule. Not to many good things to say. The company was known for customer service but that is starting to suffer.

    Cons

    The company does not have a sales culture. Training is almost non existent and at times laughable. Very dysfunctional. Don't recommend.

    Examine and identify the problems and make changes.

    Good company that takes care of their customers. Ypu can trust that customers are getting a good product and will have a great customer service experience.

    Cons

    -micro managed -corporate scene is hard to predict. Favorites played too much

    Pros

    Easy, mindless job. Show up and do what you're told and you won't get in trouble. Just don't work in customer service and you'll have it easy.

    Cons

    Customer service is an absolute joke. They brag about their short hold time when a customer calls in, but that's because employees are worked back to back to back calls all day every day. If a customer gets disconnected, too bad, because another call will come in and you don't have the opportunity to finish what you were originally doing. You don't even get paid when you use the restroom. Supervisors can play games... on their computers instead of helping take calls, but employees aren't allowed to take 5 minutes to use the bathroom or get a drink. I had excellent numbers but was written up because "I wasn't providing good customer service". They even listened to my calls, agreed that I was doing everything that I was supposed to, but they still wrote me up.

    This company is an absolute joke. All of the new hires are treated like crap, hence the RIDICULOUS turnaround, while long-term employees are rewarded for not doing any work by being allowed to do no work.

    Good people to work with and good customer service.

    Not many leads, hefty quotas and lots of cold calling.

    You need to spend money to make money, run some ads.

    Great Reputation, Excellent Customer Service, Truly care about their customers.

    A little late to market with launching new products. Could use some better sales training and better sales tactics.

    Focus more on the sales force.... After all.... they gain the customers.
