I worked at Protocol Global Solutions (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I loved my job. We always felt like needed and there's a ongoing sense of accomplishment. The work flow is consistent for the most part.

    Cons

Not much personal space between each computer and usually we have to sit in assigned seats due the level of immaturity and gossiping among a large number of our employees at any given time. That results in the entire department taking one for the team and being treated like children in elementary school.

    Advice to Management

My advice would be to not cross the sometimes fine line between friend and supervisor because that's the beginning of a unprofessional and frankly inappropriate friendships concerning the job in common. The incentives offered for good attendance seemed to be very highly favored and get successful results in terms of having less call ins/sick absences during the periods of the incentive as opposed to the regular periods without any incentive.

    Pros

    Flexible work hours, including weekends

    Cons

Security was not ready for 3/4 of the staff - it took over six weeks to get our network ids/logins. At least they still paid us to sit there for 8 hours a day.

    Advice to Management

you know when a training class starts and ends. why wasn't security ready for us to start working? you wasted a lot of money by having us just sit there all day long. Or were you hoping we'd all just no show in frustration?

I worked at Protocol Global Solutions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pleasant place to work, pay regularly on time, have weekends off, convent location, work hours ok, have a human resource department

    Cons

No raises or reviews, poor starting salary and since there are no raises you can't keep up with inflation, rent keeps going up but oh is stagnant, this is not a good long term job because of it. Had to find a better paying job just to survive.

    Advice to Management

Try giving your leads raises. The promise of your non existent bonus for team leads is pitiful!!! Only your upper management get bonuses.

I worked at Protocol Global Solutions full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The call center had a (mostly) working A/C.

    Cons

Lousy pay (barely above minimum wage), terrible staff, weak managers, indifferent HR Dept, it's really bad.

    Advice to Management

You would be doing a favor to people if you closed the building and have people looking for real job opportunities.

I worked at Protocol Global Solutions full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

if you can talk and type, you can get a job here

    Cons

management will use and abuse you until you're used up. If you show the inclination to advance with this company they will dangle that golden carrot in front of you, getting you to do jobs well above your pay grade and ultimately give you nothing but a pat on the head. Giving years of my life to this company was seriously one of the biggest regrets of my life. 10 years at this place making $14 an hour as a supervisor with no raises and doing a large part of my bosses job. As an entry level rep you'll make $9 an hour. Use this job for what it is, a paycheck to hold you over until you get a real job and for the love of God do not try to make a career here

    Pros

    Close to my home
    Overtime available

    Cons

    Poor raises
    Unethical and immature management

    Advice to Management

Management needs to do the right thing if it wants employees to follow suit. We deal with criminals on house arrest and most of the managers do not take it seriously.

I have been working at Protocol Global Solutions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Stay away from this company

    Cons

Sub par training, dysfunctional management, no cohesion or respect amongst management and costumer advocates. Favortistism amongst management. Management places a lot of stress and demand on advocates due to lack of staff. Unmotivating and one of the most unfriendly work places, I have ever worked in. Management always follows protocol and disregards complete logic. This organization is completely unprofessional.

    Advice to Management

Hire and promote individuals who are actually intelligent and have account knowledge. Remember quality over quantity. The company needs to show more employee appreciation.

I worked at Protocol Global Solutions full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Scheduling was never an issue.

    Cons

Job security company was very unstable ad they would have contracts with other large companies that would change or dissolve before they were promised. Management and human resources was extremely biased and unorganized

    Advice to Management

Re-strategize and acquire a level of consistency
