RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Providence Health & Services full-time
Pros
Many of the medical centers have a core or nurses and doctors that are devoted to their success for the long term. There is likely a strong sense of family and community bond with the medical center. Provides many opportunities for work-life balance, volunteering and community connection. Excellent place to be a nurse or physician.
Cons
Annual lay-offs usually happen just before the holidays and pay is slightly lower than competitors. Union issues with some medical centers make operations very challenging and hamper abilities to achieve efficiencies and reward employees appropriately. Not a great place to work if you're not a nurse or physician.
