I have been working at Providence part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The culture is amazing! My coworkers are more like family than coworkers, and everyone is accountable--always trying to support one another. The work-life balance and flexibility is on point. All of these characteristics, along with the pleasure to work with such a smart and talented group of people, have made me a happy employee.

    Cons

I wish there were more opportunities for growth, as far as my position is concerned. As of now, the pay would not be sufficient enough to support myself. I have a master's degree in HR and there is little opportunity for me.

    Advice to Management

Overall great job incorporating strategies to boost morale, but don't lose sight of your bottom line. I think more interns around here could really do wonders. There are so many minor tasks and duties they could help with. This would relieve some of the pressure for the admins, promote great branding and provide opportunities for the company to attract strong talent out of college, and ESPECIALLY pacify the front desk issues that (in my opinion) happen far too regularly.

    Pros

The community at Providence is great. They are really good about allowing you to balance a home and work life.

    Cons

The introduction of an ESOP program has caused a change in the feel of the company and it seems as though less thought is given to the care of its employees.
