I worked at Provincial Health Services Authority part-time

    Pros

A range of different opportunities in the support services. I worked in logistics (warehouse receiving, linen services and stock replenishment). Can transfer between sites, as positions come available. I started as casual but part-time and full-time positions came up quickly, even with little seniority.

    Cons

As it is a unionized environment, it can be frustrating to wait to build seniority in order to get the position you want.
