    Pros

This is a family atmosphere. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities without the threat of loseing your job.

    Cons

We dont have Dr. Pepper in the break room.

    Advice to Management

Some stability in structure is a good thing

I have been working at Provista full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good work-life balance
    Business is growing
    Opportunities for additional training
    Competitive benefits (excellent PTO)
    Majority of employees are genuine
    Nice offices

    Cons

Not much diversity in upper-level management (boys' club)
It's important to get along well with the "right people"
Less incentive to drive growth and demonstrate high performance unless you're on the sales teams (bonuses are curved in favor of sales teams)
HR rules can stifle internal promotions for high performers

    Advice to Management

Work on being transparent about the direction of the company. Consider the implications of a lack of diversity
Continue to foster a team-oriented culture of trust

    I worked at Provista full-time

    Pros

Forward thinking company, opportunity to grow, and genuinely good people to work with. This was a great foot in the door position that opens up other opportunities.

    Cons

It would be nice to see more women in leadership roles and additional opportunities to cross train in various departments. This would increase preparedness to take on new opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Continue with the formula that has worked over the past few years, but continue to foster the new talent coming in. The more time spent investing in a new team member, the greater chance that they will flourish.

    Cons

An idiot running the sales team, no longer there. Too much negative influence from VHA

I worked at Provista full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Pay is good. If you make friends with the right people you will be protected. Keep your head down and you won't have to work.

    Cons

They do not worry about doing the right thing. Comfortable looking the other way. If you do well and one of the inner circle is struggling they will just move your sales to their friends. GPOs are hard to understand and Provista hides the truth from Vizient. Awful company and awful leaders. The current CEO is leaving and the other leaders are not qualified to run a business. Its a boys club

    Advice to Management

Get rid of your current leadership and start over. Be honest with yourself and Vizient. The truth has a way of coming out at the worst time. Vizient needs to move Provista into Vizient and start over

I have been working at Provista full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great CEO, great people and good culture. The meetings are a good time to network and the office environment is very collaborative.

    Cons

Very political and lacks advancement opportunities. It feels like the same people get promoted over and over again but the rest of the people that work there are rarely considered. The pay is competitive, but the raise and bonus structure is horrible for mainly a sales organization. The raises are around 3% yearly and the bonus is capped but its very hard to even hit that cap. If they were promoting more it wouldn't be a problem but there is no corporate ladder here.

    Advice to Management

Make a plan for people in all parts of the organization to move up the ladder. Loyal employees want to work toward a goal and its hard when you get stuck in certain positions for a long time. The only time promotions happen is where there is a re-org and that shouldn't be the case. It will be hard to retain talent at the lower levels unless a new structure is created.

    Pros

This company has good employee benefits. The office design is very modern and 'employee friendly'. Secure parking is protective, weather-wise, and gratuitous.

    Cons

Opportunities for internal movement are limited.

Ability to move around within company

    Cons

Worked for a Manager that should not be in management.
