I worked at Prudential Fox Roach full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The Chairman/CEO and entire leadership team is unlike any other management team I have ever experienced.

They truly care about employees and making it a great place to work, provide development opportunities, and doing the right thing.

    Cons

Seriously, nothing comes to mind. Management always handles any issues in a timely and professional matter. Great place to work where it feels like family.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing, thanks for the perks, benefits and flexible family work life balance.

    Pros

met some nice people there, all expressed sadness regarding company culture

    Cons

zero training and guidance - middle management is completely incompetent and upper management is clueless - typical strategy is to bully and belittle each other and HR approves -

    Advice to Management

someone needs to enlighten you to what is happening below you - it's borderline criminal

I have been working at Prudential Fox Roach full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Working for now "Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices-Fox and Roach Realtors" is a strong benefit at the customer level, having the best affiliate support with Trident Group. No other company has what we have, and Trident makes the home buying process easier and smoother for my clients, its a great tool to have to us. We dominate the market, and we don't have to pay outrageous fees to maintain a "higher" split. Excellent marketing

    Cons

Technology in this company is improving, but has a horrible intranet !! Affiliated with other brokers, and the one stop intranet at other places was simply amazing ! we lack in this field.. but now with Berkshire it is changing shortly.
Commission Roll Backs are harsh, and some offices have more flexibility when it comes to policy on listings which isn't fair overall to the hard working associates.

    Advice to Management

More one on one support, and don't allow managers to list property. Offer better Commission splits with less harsh rollbacks.

    Advice to Management

    Spread the wealth around some.

    Pros

    see above
PFR is a highly respected local entitiy in Real Estate .

    Cons

Preferential Treatment and Opportunities ( i.e. relo)
handed out selectively (only) to the long time top producers,
makes it hard for relative newbies to get a foothold .
Support staff is minimal and is really negative about actually doing any work .

    Advice to Management

Remind yourself and the support staff that the realtors pay your salary .
Start treating support staff like respected employees, currently they have
free rein and are not helpful unless getting paid extra by individual realtors .
Some spend most of their day on a smoking break or playing cards online .
As a realtor who does not get handed a paycheck for not working , that really irks !
