Great company that cares about its employees

      Pros

Starting to really invest in its young people; lots of women in leadership positions; very diverse; international group (PII) does very interesting work

      Cons

Newark is not the most beautiful city, and Newark Penn Station was probably the worst part of my day, but the work/life balance makes it worth it. Also, easy commute from NYC, depending on where in NYC you live.

      Pros

Great benefits but healthcare premiums kept increasing. Company is not bad depends on which department you’re in.

      Cons

No work life balance. Unable to speak freely.

      Awful leadership

      Pros

      Benefits, talent, employment opportunities, collaboration

      Cons

Awful decision making structure, no internal communication. No accountability for leadership, especially at product level. No work-life balance. Business leadership creates absolutely unnecessary fire drills and inconsistencies for everyone working for the product (actuarial, finance, business).

I do not recommend this department

      Pros

Great benefits and you can work at home if you are sick.

      Cons

This department does not set you up for success. Leadership does not even know how to do the job of the team they lead. Turnover is extraordinary. Management is not honest and does not care about your health or work-life balance. People go home and cry on a regular basis.

      Pros

Remote work option. Good retirement options

      Cons

Terrible processes resulting in multiple steps to complete tasks causing need for excessive OT. No life. Feel like a slave. Terrible training program. Mass favoritism for promotions. Feel good projects unrelated to your job forced down your throat required for your performance reviews. Complete lack of concern for employees health or work life balance, especially salaried employees. salary not the level of other companies for same position especially with excessive OT required because of "PRU" excessive processes. End up working your life away for almost minimum wage at higher level positions. Results in a constant revolving door of employees.
