    Pros

Nice money, Some decent people to work with. Managers not so much.

    Cons

No consideration for people or personal issues. No feed back for performance or direction in what needs to be improved. Management team insults and berates persons, talks you down to your fellow co-workers. Overall not a good place to work if you wish sound mental health.

Great material, mostly good folks, but shocking disloyalty

    Pros

If you work on the editorial side, the material is very intelligent - you get to learn while you earn. The people are mostly nice and good coworkers; one or two higher ups had some temperament issues. When I was there, though, the Editor in Chief was a wonderful person and great to work for.

    Cons

People seem to get fired impulsively and for no reason. During my time there, everyone in my dept. was eventually let go, including me. The reasons seemed to be petty - people were fired even when their work was praised. One very good, hard-working long-term employee was let go while a parent he was caretaking was dying, and this was known to management. Also, people seemed to be let go so someone higher up's friend could have the job. They even let people go for merely frivolous reasons at the beginning of "the recession" (aka Great Depression 2) without a thought.

Was let go for weird reason, but liked working there.

    Pros

Good folks to work with. My boss was kind of neurotic but everyone else was cool. And the owner never acknowledged my existence, but again - aside from these two - good folks! The editor-in-chief (Kaja P) is wonderful to work for.

    Cons

Never enough supplies or lamps. Work setup could be better.

    Pros

The people are really friendly, and the Editorial staff really knows what they're doing. It's great for a journalist just starting out.

    Cons

Stressful deadlines at times, low payment, dealing with incompetent bloggers
