Pros
Flexibility. Great health care benefits and 401K match with immediate vesting.
Cons
Very little bonus / variable compensation. No transparency in salary / bonus structure. Over the past three years HR’s communication about the salary/ bonus structure and how each is determined has continuously changed.

Best in Class Benefits & Compensation / Worst in Class Culture & Work Environment

Competitive Salary- Some former Federal Government employees are making more than double their government salaries. Remote Work- You can work remotely anywhere in the US. Benefits- Great benefits
Cons
THE most toxic workplace you will EVER experience in your lifetime. The high salary will be a trap because it will be hard to find a position with a comparative salary, which holds you hostage. Though this is a “non-profit” organization it is heavily politically driven and there is constant change due to the divisiveness of today’s political climate. Some leader have personal agendas that impacts the true mission of the organization. The high turnover speaks for itself and the inability to fill vacant positions. Beware! All money is not good money, peace of mind is priceless.

The 6 weeks PTO and the freedom of work hours
Cons
There is no room for advancement.
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Great PTO and benefits offerings
Cons
Nepotism. Sam job postings that block internal people from being promoted. No career progression. If you know someone on the board you are likely to get hired regardless of your qualifications. Extremely high salaries for the job responsibilities. Many leaders lack integrity.

Pros
I won’t lie, working at the PCAOB has perks for someone straight out of public accounting—you’ll get an initial bump in salary, work life balance is exceptional, and great benefits. That said, salary increases year over year will be much smaller than in PA and will struggle to keep up with inflation.
Cons
Don’t come and stay here long if you want to remain competitive in the market. L&D sucks, technology sucks, career progression is almost non-existent, and it always feels like they’re trying to keep up with the firms (instead of staying ahead of them). You’ll be micromanaged by Karens that have been at the organization since its inception. Your brain will turn to mush. Come, rest for a while, find a hobby, and when the kids are a bit older and you’re ready for another challenge, move

Pros
Pay Benefits Mandatory Telework During the Pandemic
Cons
The culture is like the TV program Survivor. There is a lot of in fighting within your own team and within the divisions. Wouldn't it be nice to work for an organization that was on one accord...NOT HERE! Everyone is so busy fighting for their piece of the pie or gaining political favor rather than serving the interest of investors. It is very much like the government, because there is A LOT of bureaucracy. There is poor management at most levels and there is little to no accountability for poor decision making. Most managers are only concerned about the image of the organization, but care very little about the people who actually work at the organization. Why do I say this? If they cared, they would be more cognizant of how they treat direct reports, peers and colleagues. I had never worked for an organization where I my day to day work existence was shrouded in fear. Fear of what you may ask? Fear of being fired. Fear of being publicly shamed by my leader to peers. Fear of making a simple decision. This fear paralyzes you and prevents you from being effective in your role. It is truly the only employer experience where I walked into the door feeling a confident professional and left questioning my skills.
