I have been working at Publicis Sapient full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

My manager and team are a dream to work with, and it honestly feels like a little family. The client that I work on is also very sophisticated and knowledgeable about the media industry, so I always feel challenged in a positive way when working on projects.

    Cons

Some teams complain about their upper management, and sometimes I also notice a transparency issue from the top. We have rebranded several times, and the employees are always in the dark until the day of the new brand launch.

    Advice to Management

Management should continue to have quarterly meetings for each national practice. Staffers should also pay attention to teams who have long hours, and supply those teams with new hires.

    Pros

Provides a good opportunities to learn. Company is very supportive of training, education, trying new disciplines and subject areas, etc.
    Positive work/life balance
Opportunities to take on projects that interest you

    Cons

It's hard to find a project that doesn't at least have a technical lean, but that's a positive for some people
Very flat organization with no clear upward progression

I have been working at Publicis Sapient full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Wide variety of industries/clients/accounts represented so you can get exposure to a lot of industries if you are lucky enough to get placed on the right ones (or internally network your way onto the right ones). Very smart people. Good benefits like medical/401K and unlimited paid vacation (for all full-time employees).

    Cons

Not much visibility into business development process, and your satisfaction with your job and team will be very dependent on what client you're on or what type of project. Some account teams can sort of "trap" you for many months (which may be fine if you want to be dedicated to one client, but not if you're trying to get exposure to variety of clients).

    Advice to Management

Constant rebranding makes employees feel unstable. Lack of unity in employee feedback and talent enablement / promotion process feels disjointed and makes it hard to feel valued and rewarded. Senior leaders need to do a better job of connecting with mid-to-lower level employees.

    Cons

    Pros

You'll work and learn from the smartest, most passionate people in the business. There are lots of people with long tenure here, which says a lot for the opportunities to grow and learn. You have an impact in so many ways and will get recognized for your contributions.

    Cons

Lots of change over the past couple years, as the business morphs. It feels like constant change and there's lots of confusion around the brand(s). It's getting better though. Looks like the new changes will finally make a more cohesive company.

    Advice to Management

    More communication and transparency.
