    Cons

Fast paced, hard to get a lot of hours because most work is only weekends.

I worked at Pump It Up part-time

    Pros

It's a good high school job. Where you can be active and if you are good with kids time flies.

    Cons

Each party in the arena was 90 mins long and when doing 4 parties in a row it could get tiring. However, I think biggest con was that our owner did differentiate tips. So you gave the kids a blast for 90 mins and then they finish with a 30 min cake and presents. The parent would leave $30-$60 tips to the host in the room for "making it all happen". I wasn't a fan.

    Advice to Management

Allow tips to spread out instead.

I worked at Pump It Up part-time

    Pros

Co-workers are close and you can create friends relatively easy. Scheduling for shifts was flexible, and I never had a problem balancing school and work. Food was provided for employees during shifts as well.

    Cons

Typical stresses of a customer service job apply. Work is very much driven by the customer, so you might be taking care of a good party or bad party.

I have been working at Pump It Up part-time

    Pros

It allows working with other kids and brings out my inner kindness.

    Pros

I had a wonderful time working here. The rest of the staff was great, and the overall environment was welcoming and friendly.

    Cons

Sometimes the days were long, but that was mostly because of the hours I wanted to work. Overall, I wouldn't give many cons to this job.

    Advice to Management

Please continue to hire fun, responsible people to work here. As a first job for a high schooler, I learned a lot and had a lot of fun doing it.

I worked at Pump It Up part-time

    Pros

It was a quick way to make cash on the weekends as a high school or college student. Very easy work.

    Cons

Cleaning can be very hectic and messy. Could extend shift and get in trouble if we go overtime.

    Advice to Management

Be more creative in new party themes, kids get tired and bored quick.
