I have been working at Pump It Up part-time

    Pros

It allows working with other kids and brings out my inner kindness.

    Cons

Sometimes no lunch breaks but the owners do allow a quick eating session.

    Pros

I had a wonderful time working here. The rest of the staff was great, and the overall environment was welcoming and friendly.

    Cons

Sometimes the days were long, but that was mostly because of the hours I wanted to work. Overall, I wouldn't give many cons to this job.

    Advice to Management

Please continue to hire fun, responsible people to work here. As a first job for a high schooler, I learned a lot and had a lot of fun doing it.

I worked at Pump It Up part-time

    Pros

It was a quick way to make cash on the weekends as a high school or college student. Very easy work.

    Cons

Cleaning can be very hectic and messy. Could extend shift and get in trouble if we go overtime.

    Advice to Management

Be more creative in new party themes, kids get tired and bored quick.

I worked at Pump It Up full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You receive tips and get to interact with a plethora of children and parents who tend to make your day. You can make your own hours with their When To Work system.

    Cons

They will take part of your check or tips if you do something that resulted in a bad review that may not have even been your fault. Management never takes responsibility for anything but rather points the finger at those under them. They don't honor notices, they will fire you the next day after you give your notice of 2-weeks. They use the employees to paint and fix things rather than hiring professionals. The list goes on.

I have been working at Pump It Up part-time

    Pros

Friendly coworkers and management, fun environment with the kids (who will put a smile on your face with their stories and antics) and laid back dress code.

    Cons

Parents can be a handful, some rude children along with that. It sometimes feels like time drags when you attend.

    Advice to Management

A bit of more incentives would be nice, sometimes things could be more organized in terms of making your way up the chain, but it's easy to vocalize with management.

I worked at Pump It Up part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you love working with kids or want more experience in that field, it's great. It doesn't really take a lot of technical skill but it does take some physical ability and patience. On paper, it's quite the easy job.

    Cons

Awful pay. Minimum wage. Some kids are brats and will mistreat you, and then there are some parents who will yell at you for not being able to watch over every kid individually or for being too stern with the kids who misbehave.

    Advice to Management

    Increase your wages.
