Pros
This has got to be the most supportive job I have ever worked. Every person of power ACTUALLY care about you and how you're doing. They want to know your opinion and feedback on the workplace, how to make the company better, they want to know if you're satisfied with work or not. And if you're not satisfied, they will do everything they can to make sure you are. Everyone is so laid back and caring. I have always worked jobs where I was micro-managed 24/7 and lectured 24/7, over nothing. Theres actual trust and support here. Best job I've ever worked. Hands down.
Cons
It is a remote position, so it can be challenging mentally. You're home a lot and you tend to get yourself in a stuck position. Remember to still get out of the house and go do stuff at least every other day. Staying home too much can mess with you mentally. So you just have to keep yourself from getting stuck, still go do stuff. The end of your work day is not the end of your whole day, go outside and do something after work.

Wonderful Management and Supportive Team Culture
Apr 3, 2023 - Sales Specialist in Dallas-Fort WorthRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Best managers I have ever worked with - Everyone is very encouraging and supportive - If you have a good idea, they will LISTEN to you and do everything they can to implement it - REAL WARM LEADS - all client leads are formed by them asking to speak to someone or calling in. You're not bothering anyone!! - We all work together, there is no bad blood or over-competition among reps - Good benefits! Health, 401k, Dental, Vision, Animal insurance - Ability to make additional income through healthy competition without overtime/working additional hours - You can work extra hours if you want, but management encourages work/life balance and they really mean it - Solid company that has been around for a while and is really doing whatever it takes to achieve their goals and take care of their employees
Cons
- potential to start off a little slow. You may not make commission your first month as you are learning

Pros
PuppySpot is one of my most family friendly companies I have ever worked for. Upon getting hired I just found out that I was pregnant with my second child and made it know that I was taking this job so I could be home with my other daughter. They are so understanding of working moms with kids at home and allow you to take the necessary breaks needed during the day to care for your kids at home! They have manger check ins weekly to see how you are doing, offer amazing time off while giving NO grief for it like other companies have in the past.
Cons
My only con was working a weeekend day which was necessary since I was on the sale team.

Should Be Put Out Of Business Permanently!!!!
May 19, 2023 - Sales Representative in Jersey City, NJRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Nothing, but perhaps at least one sensitive, caring, humane person to work with while you can tolerate the brief time you can stand it there!
Cons
Absolutely No care for puppies or their customers or even the breeders for that matter!!! The lack of caring for the puppies health and well being is devastating and cruel. The customer pays a tremendous amount of money and is left very often heart broken. A qualification is not to be a puppy lover! How can it not be permanently shut down?!!

Great work environment and leadership!
Apr 28, 2023 - Inside Sales Representative in New York, NYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Everyone was very open about what they expected and how to get there. Training was extremely helpful and was a driving point to my immediate success. Management was amazing and Head of Sales was nothing but Motivation and Guidance on how to get there. I would highly suggest this job for anyone who likes to be in control of their paychecks
Cons
Not really any "cons". Would say if you can't be productive

I love it here
Apr 18, 2023 - Puppy Concierge in Indianapolis, INRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
One of my favorite things about working here is the leadership. They are genuinely interested in bettering the whole team. They commit a ton of time to ensure we are successful . For me, its also been a very low-stress job.
Cons
The only con I can think of is it is fully remote so sometimes you can feel isolated. However I enjoy working from home, especially since leadership makes sure we are connected everyday through messages, and zoom meeting

Amazing Place To Work
Jan 6, 2023 - Sales Specialist in Jersey City, NJRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
There is very unique energy on the sales floor at PuppySpot due to the nature of the sale. Talking about puppies all day makes the job enjoyable. The puppies come first - We are the best place to get a healthy puppy from a vetted reputable breeder. Not your typical cold calling role. You get warm leads, inbound calls, and connect with people who actually want to talk to you. Great culture and supportive environment that provides ongoing learning and development opportunities. The team is always open to feedback, creativity, and innovation. Uncapped commissions + excellent benefits including health/dental/pet insurance, and 401k matching.
Cons
Like any sales job, there are ups and downs. The job comes with expectations of high effort and a quota to hit, however, getting to make our customers so happy by setting them up with a new best friend makes it worth it.

Pros
Fellow colleagues were an amazing group of hardworking people.
Cons
The CEO down to Management/Supervisors did not care, would throw each other and their employees under the bus at any given chance. They literally sat in meetings all day long, laughing and gossiping. Would not hire on additional people for quality work, instead worked the few employees down to a pulp and wondered why there were so many mistakes being made across the board. The yearly increase would amount to .15 to .35 if you were lucky enough to get anything. If there were issues with sick or deceased puppies the cover up and blame game would begin without hesitation. Although people get along within their own department, their is an obvious hate between the departments. Returned puppies are being stolen from breeders and only adopted out within the Health and Breeder Admin department. No room for growth. Cannot share private information with HR or management, because the entire company will know by the next day. The company does not fairly value their employees, the environment is closest to that of a high school where the cool kids (employees that have been there a while) get to run amuck, make mistakes with their work, come to work and leave as they please, steal company time and still get a pat on the back.
