    Pros

Exceptionally talented people, relaxed and friendly environment, managers have an open door policy. If you like to travel this is s great place to work for.

    Cons

Due to the high demand in Condition Assessment in large diameter pipelines Pure is growing too fast, but they are still able to deliver great services to all clients including municipalities.

I have been working at Pure Technologies full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Cutting edge technology firm with growing engineering expertise that uses data collected from water and waste water pipeline inspections to drive cost effective recommendations to cash-strapped utilities. One of a kind company that continues to be a leader in a developing field. Incredible work environment, surrounded my mission-driven, team- and solution-oriented, hard-working and brilliant people across all units of the company. Opportunity to travel the country and the world. Transparent connection with upper management, leading to strong ownership of Pure's success across the company.

    Cons

Can be difficult to maintain work/life balance, especially in high-travel project delivery roles. A growing company that sometimes lacks stable strategic vision from upper management.

    Advice to Management

Please continue to commit to maintaining transparency with even the lowliest field technician as the company keeps growing. This company excels when everyone takes ownership for the successes as well as the failures, and remains bought in to our overall mission. This only happens when the strategic vision is explained and discussed with ongoing dialogue between management and labor.

I have been working at Pure Technologies full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great large company with a small business feel, innovative, accommodating. Leaders in the marketplace and continue to invest in their technology and personnel.

    Cons

Salaries are less than average. Large emphasis on engineering background degree capping certain experienced individuals career paths.

    Advice to Management

Invest in keeping turnover low in areas of client relationships. Continue focusing on other sources of revenue, and stick with it for more than a year before moving on.

    Pros

Relaxed work place, nice co workers, social events and office parties

    Cons

Literally nobody on the administrative side of the company knows what they are doing, especially the supply chain department who are completely lost. They are just desperately trying to take on more business before the competition does without any concern with how to actually implement it. Their costs are astronomical compared to their revenue and have no plan on reducing them. Logistics is a complete free for all, with having one person on call 24/7, but supply chain department hires people and lies to their face saying you will very rarely have to deal with after hours problem. There are no processes in place for any aspect of the business except for operations, which being a field operator is the only good position at the company. Their business model is unsustainable and the company will fold unless huge changes are made and certain people are removed.

    Advice to Management

You need to hire a consulting agency and pay them lots of money to clean up the logistics and administrative side of your business. You need to rethink what you are trying to achieve.

I have been working at Pure Technologies full-time

    Pros

Lots of travel, lots of opportunity to take on new roles and large amounts of responsibility early on. Great culture, with a team-first approach, and plenty of sources for advice and assistance. Managers and higher-ups have grown with the company as well, so there is a great continuity of knowledge and experience. As the company grows, change in roles and opportunities is a constant. Multiple office locations around North America and the globe, and positive attitudes and hard-working effort to be found in each one.

    Cons

As the company continues to expand, there are growing pains. Role definition, and appropriate salaries based on responsibilities, is currently lacking.

    Advice to Management

Do not lose sight of who is out executing the business, and consider their needs and wants as the business grows!

    Advice to Management

offering more career paths to employees
