I worked at PurpleTalk full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

There aren't any pros worthy to be mentioned

    Cons

No work-life balance at all. Working hours are on an average of more than 14+ hours a day. The management is hardly empathetic to you after putting so many efforts in a day. The client is treated as God in human form and the employee rights are hardly even given any importance. You would be forced to work during any part of the day/week/month irrespective of your privacy or personal time. Working over weekends... becomes a norm and is not even acknowledged. Politics is rooted highly at the managerial level. Yes men only get what they want in the end. Stand up for yourself and you would be hounded and despite previous appreciations, you will be cherry-picked to find faults with. If the offer letter of the company lands up with you better use it to have fritters.

I worked at PurpleTalk full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Honestly speaking there are no pros as there are no standards, policies nor quality management. People in top management are fit for nothing and I am sure they cannot survive elsewhere apart from Purpletalk.

    Cons

No Work life balance for sure Salaries and career growth is stagnant One cannot expect their variable pay as the company promised. Hiring process is pathetic. Unfortunate fact is a person with 4 years experience would interview candidates with 8+ and company claim that potential employees would get opportunity to do so and the employee also feel privileged doing the same. However, I feel as one of the manager that... this process is like insulting the candidates experience and competency. Mr. Lingam, I know this would reach you hard but please pull-up your socks atleast now, else you would be landed nowhere.

I worked at PurpleTalk full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    They have some good projects.

    Cons

Work-life balance completely screwed up, almost every day late at night. Except a few all other Saturdays are working and sometimes Sundays and holidays are also working. • So Work-life balance is something you can’t even expect. • Poor Management in the project. Due to poor management developers have to suffer their work-life balance. • Lots of favoritism are there in the development team

    Advice to Management

Your team also has a personal life like you. Please try to manage the project, so they have to suffer less at late night and weekend/holiday work.

I worked at PurpleTalk full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

If you are a fresher and want a job desperately irrespective of salary , then this is the place for you. Friendly people all around. Salary paid on time.

    Cons

Have seen lot of people saying flexible timings and good work culture .All those are absolutely false. It used to be that way few years back. There will be people all around you waiting to suck your last drop of blood from your body. Work life balance is something you can’t even expect. Expect your spouse to take divorce if married when you work here. Employees are given ZERO importance and needless to say, you... are not treated as an employee unless you stretch in the nights and weekends without any extra benefits.... There is no clarity on the definition of management. Sometimes some leads , architects take some important decisions and some other time they say CEO is the boss. They themselves don’t have clarity on this. Salary hikes are never given on time, and don’t expect good numbers on your hike letters. Management will play with you even when you are in your notice period. Last but not the least, HR is just for the sake of formality and preparing employee related documents here.
