    Pros

Good benefits, challenging opportunities, lots of intelligent people, ability to shift jobs or experience different fields within the company

    Cons

Very long hours, zero work life balance during certain times of year

    Advice to Management

Pay associates & seniors overtime; consider reevaluating the job market salary rates (inconsistent with the cost of living)

I worked at PwC (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great online training tools; cutting edge practices

    Cons

    Competitive (v. collaborative staff support)

    Advice to Management

Managers ought to know how to do the work of those they manage. Some have been too far removed to be helpful or fair when workloads become unbalanced.

I have been working at PwC as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great pay, training, culture, and growth opportunities. Interns are expected to step into a real client engagement and add value from day 1. Support network is also very strong.

    Cons

Some interns in my class seemed to have trouble getting staffed to a client, and instead did IFS tasks all summer. That was very few, however.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the support network and training, as I think this is what younger generations reall care about.

    Cons

No real cons. As an intern, you are always under a microscope.

I have been working at PwC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits, travel and expense policy is pretty relaxed. There are some truly awesome people here but they are very few and far between.

    Cons

No good for women. It is run by middle aged, white directors and partners who got lucky through acquisitions. Rampant passive aggression. They will say one thing to your face and take action by doing the opposite. They lay off first years fresh out of college if you do not work yourself into the absolute ground. They do not pay the best earlier. The bonuses are non existent and the evaluation process is VERY subjective and undefined.

    Advice to Management

Stop lying to people. Do not stand in front of 600 new hires at advisory start and say "we do not believe in layoffs" and lay off 15% of advisory 9 months later. Also, pay your people better. A bonus of $1300 for a year of 75 hour weeks is not exactly fair.
