    Pros

Benefits and pay are decent. Hours are not

    Cons

Starting as an associate at a Big Four just means being grinded for 6 years if you last until manager

    Pros

Good flexibility in non busy season times

    Cons

Compensation is is below peers from other groups at PWC audit is the ugly stepchild of the conpany.

    Advice to Management

Even out compensation across xlos teams. Tax is not more valuable or higher skilled than audit.

Pay does not fully match cost of living in specific areas.

    Advice to Management

I have been working at PwC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Opportunity to travel
    - Interesting Projects / Clients
    - Coming from College, you join with a group of peers who are all in same boat as yourself which helps settle in.

    Cons

    -Long Hours
    - Irrational Managers - Expectations of completing work is unrealistic staff expected to work around the clock.
    - On big clients you don't get enough exposures to different audit areas/ shoe horned into certain areas for years
    -Health insurance benefits are poor

    Advice to Management

Respect your people more. There is a lot of talk about flexibility but in reality it is not possible based on current structure and expectations put on staff. Getting to leave the office/client at 6 and then working from home for the rest of the night is not flexibility.

I have been working at PwC full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Corporate perks, unlimited sick time, decent benefits, great networking opportunities, prestigious name on resume, high profile clients to work on

    Cons

Long hours, lowest starting pay of the big 4, not always recognized for hard work, otherwise the rest is alright.

    Advice to Management

Allow associates to get more exposure. Maybe allow them to work within various areas of tax more easily. It will make for happier associates and will add value to the firm.

I have been working at PwC as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

From the associates to the exposure and overall experience, I have been completely blown away by this incredible internship experience. Everyone here at PwC does all that they can to keep you happy, busy and feeling like a real addition to the team. The partners are interactive with the employees, the managers care to help you with short term and long term goals, and the other associates are a great source for questions and help. I love this company and I hope to work here full time after college!

    Cons

It is a stressful job, especially during busy season, but that is to be expected from public accounting. The team does a great job in balancing the overall workload and helping each other out when need be.
