I worked at PwC full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Consulting environment allows for exposure to many industries and technologies.

    Cons

Large company size (and being a "partnership" entity) too often results in duplicate efforts, processes, workflows throughout PwC.

    Advice to Management

PwC should continue to get a deeper understanding of its talent and to better leverage it as needed. This should result in more retraining and reassigning rather than layoffs.

I have been working at PwC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great people, you learn A LOT, a good amount of vacation time, unlimited sick days, willing to work with you if you want to switch to a new position/line of service/office etc.

    Cons

It can be hard to navigate all the different opportunities which can lead to missing out if you don't know what direction you want to take your career in, if you specialize too much it limits your opportunities, hours can be a bit much at times

    Advice to Management

Explain more aspects of the business to interns/applicants so they can see all the opportunities the company offers rather than getting stuck in something they don't fully enjoy

    Pros

A lot of opportunity to pursue a variety of career paths. Supportive colleagues and generally a positive atmosphere.

    Cons

Although there are clear career paths for those who work in the client service sector, internal firm staff do not have as clear of a trajectory and find that in order to advance one must cross into various departments.
