Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Chicago, IL

I have been working at PwC full-time

    Pros

PwC offers great benefits and really allow you to make what you want of your career. You can go as far as you'd like but have to be willing to put the time and effort in.

    Cons

PwC also can allow you to fall into the background if you don't proactively pursue your career advancement. If you don't speak up about what you want, it's difficult to get it there.

    Advice to Management

I would recommend showing more effort in the coaching landscape. People need to understand that they need to drive their career forward but often look for help in doing this important item.

I worked at PwC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Worked with me to start auditing part time which I have always appreciated. They always seemed concerned with me being a happy employee.

    Cons

Fast-paced, lifestyle choice-type job in an industry that expects long hours.

    Advice to Management

It's been awhile since I worked there but I wouldn't want to return to any Big 4 because I think the work/life balance would still be stretched. I don't know if the industry has addressed that yet.
